Kwik Fit - Portslade

The two team members that I dealt with were excellent. They went above and beyond to get me back on the road. Even worked on late to make sure I wasn’t stranded while dealing with all the other customers and some tricky situations chucked their way. They are a credit to your branch.

My car failed its MOT, which is frustrating but happens. What made me feel unhappy was that, when I dropped the car off at 10.45am as per my appointment time, I was told I would be called in 45mins to an hour. When it reached 3pm and I hadn't heard anything, I called up myself. The car had been ready to collect for some time but nobody has called me.I also would have liked more help with the issue raised by the MOT. I was simply told the repair couldn't be done there. Some guidance or information about why would have really been appreciated (especially as, having now spoken to other garages, it seems to be pretty standard).

I was called after my car MOT was done and was left a voicemail asking to call back. After ringing twice and having no answer was sent a email with a quote saying work that was needed to my car, then when I rang again later was told did I want the work done and as I needed my car for work thats a 40 minute drive! I said I have no choice but to get the work done as soon as for £439! When I then collect the car and paid for the work done to my car was shown the MOT paper that said I had to just replace the front left side light that I had brought and asked if was possible to fit. Then noticed that would of passed the MOT. All the other bits that I had done to my car was just an advisory and would of passed if not sorted that day. So when calling I would of liked to be told that what I needed to just have is the bulb fitted and that would pass my MOT and they would advise that I get the other parts sorted when possible.

Excellent service from Kieran who dealt with my flat tyre today , professional and efficient.All dealt with within 45 mins and the workshop was really busy , just enough time to feed the kids .The mechanic was unable to re set the puncture warning light but we did this at home .Shame we got home and no hub cap on the wheel that was repaired.Called in morning spoke to Lucas who tried to tell me the hub would not have been taken off .I did explain the hub cap had to be removed to get the the bolts .He agreed to order us a new one from Vw .

Having tried to go to work and had a nasty surprise of a slow puncture and my garage not having returned my locking wheel nut and then having to call out the AA, I duly visited the Kwik Fit Portslade branch and threw myself on their mercy. I must say that as a woman, it is often daunting going into a garage but the acting manager had a great sense of humour and put me at my ease and customer service was second to none. The acting manager spent 15 minutes mending my puncture and sorting out the problem and sent me on my way back to full driving health! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kwik Fit Portslade to all my friends as being friendly and efficient and offering a top class service. Keep up the good work!

The staff were very kind fitting me in although they were already very busy. They were polite and respectful at all times and explained what needed to be done and why . Couldn't have done any more. Keep up the good work

Recently had my MOT done here and received excellent service from them. A very friendly team of guys, approachable, funny and knowledgable as to what had gone wrong. Car sorted, all very easy. Special shout out to James who was brilliant with my two boys!!

Called up in the morning 10am drove down about half an hour later and drove out 2 hours later with four new tyres and tracking complete. The 2 gents that were working yesterday Sunday 3rd Sept were very friendly, professional, helpful and efficient.
