Wow shocking my son went to get a keebab and popped in this pub for a quick pint hottest day of the year mind. Went for a wee first and the bar lady followed him on the toilets accused him of doing cocain for god sake. Rude beyond belief. I called the pub on his return when he told me about this experience and the lady said u can’t be too sure with all the new people moving in. She said he should have said hi when he walked in lol avoid new residents aren’t welcome . No wonder the pub was dead No manners

Friday night food at the crown best steak and ale pieHusband had steak and Stilton pie he said its the best he has ever tasted,Brother said fish and chips was delicious definitely will return again .

We had a birthday meal there yesterday and it was top-notch, all the food was hot and came out at the same time so our compliments to the chefs and waitresses.The pub has had a makeover there is a massive TV for sports etc has a great atmosphere and I love the fact that they have a large covered outside area where you can relax with friends - great for the summer and also parking which is quite difficult to find these days.

Good beers, the guest beer changes regularly, good atmosphere and a nice garden area. Not much in the way of food served

Great little traditional local pub, friendly customers and staff. The beer was excellent and a good range to choose from. Pity that they only do food once a week.
