Salsa King - Birmingham & Solihull

I joined Val and Judy’s classes in July, had never danced before and am the least co-ordinated person. They are the most welcoming people, patient and clearly explain all the moves being taught. There is a mixture of beginners and advanced dancers, and plenty of helpers who spend time with you, if you struggle with a specific move. Everyone is incredibly friendly, so even if you go on your own, you will soon make friends. The classes are fun and are the highlight of my week. I would definitely recommend Salsa King.

First class teachers both Val and Judy, I was with them 12 years ago, and was excited when Val messaged to say class was starting once again. I have had some serious health problems over the last few years but with the gentle approach that Val adopts, I have more confidence than ever and have so enjoyed being back doing Salsa. I usually go to Salsa classes on my own and Val's approach is so friendly and welcoming you feel relaxed and make other friends so quickly. Give it a go, it's so much fun and exercise all rolled into one.

A great evening of Salsa with fantastic Instructors Val & Judy. They are very welcoming, patient and I love how they make it fun and enjoyable. I Have mostly danced crossbody style many years as a follower. Since joining Salsa King I am now learning to be a strong and confident lead thanks to Judy and Val.Would highly recommend.

Fun salsa class with fantastic teachers in a lovely venue

Val and Judy are the best Salsa teachers I’ve had. They not only make salsa enjoyable but also teach in a structured way that enables you to understand the movements and steps progressively.They provide names for each of the moves and create routines which are then adaptable to freestyle social dancing.Truly my faveourite salsa class. Structured, progressive, supportive and informative.
