Good for a stroll. Keep in mind there is plenty of standing water, and hardly any paths. Maybe 15 worth but free car park.

Great expanse of woods and parkland so close to the city centre. Walk the dog here and can do a different route every day.

Lovely wild'ish' wood with plenty to explore for little people and a somewhat hard path for buggies/extra mobility. Hidden and not so hidden sculptures (map available - just search) to add interest, as well as a couple of clearings with occasional ropeswings, and tunnels/rivers to play and explore.Has a couple of marked walking routes, and routes set up for mountain biking. Wood possibly could be improved with a marked distance route...
