Hampton by Hilton Canterbury

We had a great couple of days stay in Canterbury. The hotel is right in the centre of town which was perfect. A multistory carpark was within walking distance that is discounted through the hotel was really good. The hotel reception team were super friendly and helpful with booking in. Nice bar area. The breakfast was brilliant. Lots of variety and the fact you can make your own waffles was excellent!! The rooms were comfy and spacious. Very clean. The shower screens could be a bit bigger in the bathroom as it doesn't stop hardly any of the water going onto the floor. But there were plenty of towels to put down! Really quiet relaxing hotel. We had a lovely time in Canterbury and would def recommend the hotel for a couples weekend away.

Really loved the place, and I should say they have brilliant staff at the hotel. The food was good for breakfast and the rooms were clean and nice. Nice place to stay and would certainly visit back

Stayed there for a three day work trip. The reception staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were fine. The location is excellent. Little but fresh breakfast.

I had such a lovely stay here on Sunday 3rd September with my parents. I haven't stayed here for about a year and half the staff are excellent. It was lovely to see smiley Poppy again. We stayed here because it was my dads birthday as we were meeting family. Eliose who checked us in a very nice young girl and very accommodating as spoke to her that morning and asked to get into our rooms early so she put a priority clean, then when I arrived at 2pm I could get straight in. The staff could not of been any nicer my dad got some chocolates around of drinks and a card. This was such a lovely touch. We also spoke with Ross and Marko who were so lovely helpful and chatty. I went to your Gym this morning was fabulous very clean and just me in there, then went for breakfast a massive selection and the staff were very nice wiping our table and seating us as it was very busy. I also worked from here before I head back to Portsmouth. We will be back soon very very happy and thanks to your lovely staff. From Shelley Anne and Gavin Smart.

It has always been lovely visiting Hampton by Hilton Canterbury. Ali has been always been incredibly helpful, kind and hospitable. He really made sure our stay was comfortable and easy; assisting whenever needed, thank you for this. The entire staff have been great, rooms are comfortable and service is lovely.

Workers are very welcoming and helpful, the room is clean, ac worked well (this was important because we were doing a road trip around England this summer and we know the older hotels do not have ac), the lobby was very nice and allowed us a place to hang out since our room was a little small. We also LOVED the location. It made everything so convenient since we didn't need to drive anywhere. We had a car since we were doing a road trip around England, so it was convenient that the Hampton partnered with a car park to give us a discount and it wasn't a far walk at all from the car park. Overall, it was great and we would book with them again if we come back.

A very nice hotel in the heart of the town. Near the train station, stores and high street, it's a great place to stay. They offer complimentary breakfast and the staff was very nice. I would have scored it a 5/5 had it not been for the noise which can be heard from our room. The hotel is situated between two clubs, so you can hear the booming sound even until 2am. Fortunately, because the staff are quite nice and understanding, they did offer us to sleep in another room when we raised the issue. Other than that, the hotel is clean with a nice vibe. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

The ‘service manager’ who refused to engage with me at this hotel when I went to collect my unwell daughter, after she hired a refuge meeting room there while I was at my graduation ceremony, is one of the most brainless, incompetent and inhumane members of a reception staff team I have come across in my long life. All he could say when I asked of her whereabouts was ‘It’s data protection’. I roamed the hotel and found her and confess I lost it with this man who needs to learn how to interact with customers in the job he’s supposed to be trained for!
