Nice drive and a lovely walk on good tracks. Walk takes about 1 hour but plenty opportunity to stop at tables and seats. Not 100% but pretty sure we saw a pair of golden eagles soaring on the ridge.

Here, past the sticks, through beyond, past the back of beyond . . . here at the quiet limit of the world - is an arboretum.Trees, ferns, moss - a thing of great beauty.

Beautiful place, ideal for some bird watching, not many parking spaces, you can be here for hours though.

Very sheltered here and different from the exposed west side of the island. Loads of dragonflies near the small lochan. Also seals spotted on the rocks at the car parking area.Please don't wild camp here, I met a couple here who thought they could.

Fabulous place for a walk and a picnic on one of the benches at a viewpoint. Go directly east from the end of the road.

Get there early for a parking spot. Lovely walk & views - very peaceful and loads of wildlife. Don't miss it!

Le lieu est magnifique et vaut le détour. Attention si vous y allez avec votre chien énormément de tiques nous en avons retiré une trentaine sur le notre.
