Went for the basic classic breakfast.The poached egg was perfectly cooked.. the rest was pretty standard but does what it says on the tin. The owners are friendly and attentive. Thanks.

Best tasting coffee, no joke. I'm a bit of a coffee snob. I only have one a day and it better be good otherwise I'm grumpy all day.You can taste the freshness of the roast, so flavoursome.The eggs royale were delicious, really good quality salmon and poached eggs cooked to perfection.Do not miss out on the treat that is this hidden gem in Brighton.It's a family run business and you can taste that everything is made with pride and passion

Lovely little Cafe with very good food. Excellent and attentive service with a relaxed atmosphere. Modest Christmas decorations with a comfortable area to sit outside (even in winter due to the outdoor heaters). Overall, the perfect venue to start your day with an amazing breakfast.

Ala's Cafe is an absolute gem, gorgeous atmosphere and run by a lovely small team. Ala is always happy to go the extra mile for us, and makes the most perfect sandwiches and coffee every single time.If you're lucky enough, you'll catch him when he's just freshly baked his baguettes - which I was today! Attached a picture of my usual lunchtime meal :)

Ala's cafe is a lovely little business near to the brighton seafront. The owner is a lovely, friendly gentleman who evidently cares about all his customers-even those who aren't regular visitors! My partner and I visited two days in a row and he remembered us the following morning. The service and food were impeccable! Would highly recommend visiting this cafe!

So pleased to have found this wonderful hidden gem in Brighton. I visited Ala’s cafe with my brother and had a brilliant lunch and coffee. The food was cooked beautifully, one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. The service from the owner was outstanding. He made us feel very welcome and had a lovely chat with him. We will definitely be returning when next in Brighton :) Thank you!

I visited this place with my sister, so glad I did. Little gem in the heart of Brighton, greeted with a warm welcome, food was delicious and had a pleasant conversation with the owner. Will be visiting again if ever in Brighton. Thank you again!
