Unfortunately the tool I had stopped working but all it took was a quick phone call and they came within an hour with a replacement and gave me extra hours before returning.Overall fanatic service and good value for money, highly recommended.

Very helpful and personable assistance by Stuart and the staff at Parker Tool Hire. Stuart was in particular was very helpful and was happy to spend time advising me what we needed for the job (removing paint from garden path). Very poor. Tool that was hired was not functional meaning job could not be completed. Other reviews note that the tools are often faulty. Although was not charged for the faulty tool, was charged for a secondary tool I hired, despite the fact the job was incomplete. Only use if you like knowledgeable helpful staff that unfortunately hire out faulty tools.

I researched the online market for tool hire and received the best quote locally at Parkers tool hire, but I wish I’d just paid more, as the device I hired didn’t consistently work. It’s true what they say “you get what you pay for”.During a quick demonstration of how to work the device I was hiring, the starter cord would not retract back into the engine properly and the man running the shop (?the owner) said that he would fix the issue before I had the machinery delivered the following day. When I tried to use the machinery I notice that it kept cutting out every 5-10 minutes of use and it took about 10 minutes to get it started. The cord still didn’t retract properly when operated. I was not happy with the way the device operated, so I rang the shop and let them know an hour into hire. The shop owner sent someone out to look at the device and typically the machinery was working for the 5-10 minutes the staff was here. I rang the shop again first thing the following morning after I finished my night shift, to say that I wasn’t happy with the device that I had hired.The owner was complaining saying it was the way I operated the device and his staff was wasting petrol coming out to check the machine, which they did once and the second time they came I just sent the device back, due to the owners attitude.One of the men sent out to collect the device, was very arsey as well, all because I voiced my dissatisfaction. If you’re a women hiring tools, I’d avoid this place like the plague, they treat you like you’re daft.
