Generally a good modern facility, however firstly this morning the main entrance male toilets were a state with rubbish everywhere, floors grimy and no soap. Toilets clearly not been cleaned well in a long time. Also much what is published locally, the entrance for buses is far too tight causing buses having to wait to manoeuvre into the site and at school drop off time all the sites roads grind to a halt

I've given this place one star because I have to give one even though it deserves none. The Personal Trainer (Mr S Cooper) was rude, obnoxious, uneducated and horrible to work with. His body shaming mentality has pushed my recovery back, Its disgraceful that he can be employed in this position.

Lucy, the Aqua Aerobics teacher on a Monday and Thursday is simply amazing. Life is hard at the moment, but as soon as I get in that water and hear the funky music, I forget all my problems.

A good modern facility which is unfortunately let down by the lack of gym staff, failure to ever fix the cardio machines that are out of action and most importantly, the rude staff members (not all) that are sat at the bottom of the stairs that never answer your Hello's" or "Goodbyes". Staff training is definitely needed

For thirty pounds a month the quality of the gym does not reflect what you pay for membership, nor do you see it reinvested in the place - which is odd, as it is part of their statement on their introductory webpage.Rusty equipment, a leaky roof that has been in the corner of the freeweights section for roughly two months. Furthermore, I've never encountered a gym that only has one squat rack and one set of cables - even though there is plenty of room for additional bits of kit. There is also a nail in the pull up machine which has not been removed for the last three months, meaning that that particular weight is inaccessible.the lack of oversight is appalling. I understand that the gym is located on top of a school, although when you have kids coming in at 4, throwing medicine balls around the cardio area and sparring with each other near the chin up station, with NO staff present this is just plainly dangerous and intrusive to anyone who comes to workout.there is no wi fi whatsoever, unless you stand by the smith machine, which for some reason is stationed right next to window - ideal if you want the sun glaring down in your eyes while bench pressing. Now for the positives: freindly-ish staff and a decent cardio area.I've a feeling a lot of people will move to energie when that opens up, unless a gym only membership price is introduced that reflects what you pay for.

Rarely staffed meaning if anyone had a seizure, injury or fire alarm on gym floor, good luck getting help. They put signs out to compensate for lack of staff (see photos) but this does not excuse lack of staff. They continue to employ and have employed very recently staff to work gym floor with no fitness or first aid qualifications whatsoever so I suggest you make sure your trainer is fully qualified before buying a membership. The leisure facilities are poorly run, hardly any equipment works or maintained regularly (see photos) Many unclean areas including toilets and non-working showers (see photos). The lack of staff on gym floor in case of emergency is not something any member of the public should tolerate. If your son, daughter, wife, husband, grandad broke a bone by falling off a treadmill, had a seizure or a fire broke out (or an evacuation caused by a plant room spillage requiring 7 fire trucks to sort out as had previously happened in September 2021) then Abbeycroft would have a lot to answer for in my opinion. The only good thing about this place is the members who have to use it as Abbeycroft hold the monopoly on leisure in the area, and certain genuine members of staff who shouldn't be blamed for managments lack of empathy towards its members by not having staff assigned for more than 2 hours at a time when there is a real risk of injury with heavy gym equipment.

After experiencing the horror show that is Atrium Fitness in Ely, we decided to come here and so glad we did. Spacious, clean and professional. The pool is incredible, as are the general facilities available. Am gutted we didn't come here first, but now we've moved over we are over the moon. One thing albeit small that I love is the fact you can get changed for the pool in cubicles... Take note Atrium Fitness, it's not the middle ages anymore! The staff are friendly and professional, I would highly recommend anyone comes here if they want a stress free experience.
