Wonderful desserts. I had a banoffee waffle, huge! We also had a crepe and a waffle stick, and just for good measure some churros. Not forgetting the Ferrero Roche milkshake. Now stuffed lol! Great place to visit, comfy chairs, lovely decor and great staff.

An amazing visit with something for everyone. Delicious food, friendly staff, lovely decor and a large menu where there will be something to please everyone. Reasonably priced too!

The best place for desserts in Newcastle- I literally refuse to buy anything from anywhere else. The quality is always high and you’re always satisfied with your order. I’ve never had a bad order from here and I’ve brought from them many times. If you’re thinking about buying from here I suggest you do. The perfect treat☺️. Sorry I ate the little waffle on the top- it comes with one of those aswell !

Righ, so I understand that deliveroo uber eats just eat is important to earn money but you cannot handle the physical client that is in front of you like that. We were rushed and non stopped asked is it everything. Let me finish a sentence…Menu is no different than other dessert shops near. Cakes looks not impressive nor tasty. We ordered ice cream, cheesecake, waffle stick, churros. Service is slow due to amount of take out order comes from uber and such… Btw we were the only people that was seated and waiting for the order. I guess would have been faster if i have choosen the uber eats?Ice cream is like any other place. Blend and no special. Churros were overcooked abd bit hard. CheeseCake crust is hard and obviously not fresh. You could just go to any supermarket and buy the frozen ones. I couldnt find any difference. Which is sad as the place is not bad looking. Colors and all, chairs are comfortable. Shame. Will never come again and dont recommend it.

TL;DR - Tasty desserts, nicely presented and at reasonable prices. You can find typical dessert items like waffles, cookie dough and pancakes, but also others which you won't necessarily find at other local dessert cafes, like croffles (croissants pressed in a waffle machine) and churros. The croffles are tasty, and the cookie dough, although smaller in size than those served at Creams or Sweet Dreams, is decadent and super gooey. There is plenty of seating inside, and the space is very bright and airy. The decor seems very much geared towards being instagrammable" but I think it's a nice place to be (especially for those who like the colour pink)

They do pretty decent smashburgers. Like 7/10.Chips had the taste you’d expect from a burger van at a fairground.

The milkshakes were too lumpy to have even after waiting for the ice cream to melt. The ambiance could do with a little change, for example they could get rid of the bright white light and change it to a more mood setting warm colour. The lights also need to be less bright, at the moment it's lit up like a forensic lab! You can see the dirt on the outside of the windows even at night with the extreme white lighting. Also the Sundae was served in a disposable plastic cup! If you are expecting the usual glass/crystal cutlery when dining in, then this is a shock to the system! The staff were nice so there is plenty of potential.I haven't given up on this place so let's hope next time it's a different experience.

If you're a fan of sweet treats, you simply have to check out this amazing desert place! Their churros, donuts, and waffles are all incredibly delicious and baked to perfection. I've visited this spot multiple times and have always been blown away by the quality of their treats. The churros are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the donuts are fluffy and flavorful, and the waffles are simply divine

This is a lovely little place, situated above Manjaros, near the Tyne Theatre in Newcastle. We ordered cheesecakes, a milkshake and a sundae. The milkshake was divine- really thick and creamy, with perfect sweetness and beautiful presentation. The cheesecakes are delightful. They're no-bake cheesecakes which is always my preference. The cheesecakes are very sweet, and while I wouldn't recommend it, they could probably be shared. I went for the Amir Khan shake, which was blended with Ferrero Rocher and Kinder bueno. My friend went for a flake sundae, which (in his words) just kept on going. Usually a sundae is packed full of whipped cream and gaps, but this was a solid dessert of ice-cream, chocolate sauce, flake, ice-cream, chocolate sauce, flake, ice cream, cho... You get the picture! The milkshake and sundae were each topped off with a crunchy wafer biscuit. We were lucky enough to be given some free donuts as well (thank you, Yumyum!), and they were cooked to perfection. Just like the dinky donuts you'd get at a donut van, they were seasoned with a generous helping of sugar, had a beautiful golden crunchy outside and a fluffy middle. The decor is really fun, with pink clamshell chairs and a psychedelic paint job on the walls. It was impeccably clean. It would be a great place for any sort of get together, and with a neon selfie wall the place is Instagram gold. Can't wait to go back- Yum Yum certainly lives up to its name 12/10 ❤
