What an amazing little gem in Newhaven. Really friendly and helpful staff to help you with your quilting and knitting projects. The cafe serves lovely cakes and the best scones. Highly recommended

What a great place. A really good selection of fabrics to keep the wife and daughter happy backed up by a great little tea room. The cheese on toast is excellent. All this supported by a friendly welcoming staff and a cosy atmosphere. What's not to like?? We will be back.

Lovely friendly, welcoming staff. The atmosphere is so lovely the courses are great. The 1-2-1 tuition is fabulous and worth every penny.The drinks and food are delicious with loads of choice and dietary restrictions can be catered for.Would highly recommend The Patchwork Cat.

My first trip to this lovely place. The staff are lovely and friendly. They were so kind because I was nervous being out and on my own too.My coffee was perfect and the Mocha cake was so delicious.Highly recommend a visit. I will definitely be coming back.

Lovely ladies, nice selection and although nothing was advertised as vegan she was very knowledgeable so knew all the ingredients of everything and catered really well.She even offered to hold my baby so I could eat and was so sweet with her, introducing her to everyone.Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely friendly cafe. I have eaten here at least twice a week. Coffee is good and the cakes are great. Always really helpful. I would recomend this cafe . I really hope it will soon be open. Really miss this friendly little cafe.

We love the Patchwork Cat. The ladies are so nice and friendly, and one even took the time today to give me some advice for my sewing machine. She was also sweet my son who was a bit over excited to be getting cake. (And she cut his piece smaller and put the extra in a take away tub as the slices are grown up size,we didn't ask her too, she just saw he was little and was thoughtful)

Wonderful cafe with friendly, helpful staff, and a nice selection of crafts supplies. I'm only staying nearby for a couple of days, but some of the activities they advertise (e.g. You can buy a hand-crafted cushion, or you can take a class to learn how to make your own) seem like they would be very fun as well.
