Marine Cruises

Hired a boat with Marine Cruises at Falkirk. They are a very good and organised group of people. The boat offered to me was in top condition. Handover and takeover was swift. I immensely enjoyed the canal boating experience from Falkirk to Edinburgh.

We could not be happier with our narrowboat holiday with Marine Cruises! We took a 10 day trip from the Swanley base up the Llangollen canal and back again. It was a beautiful holiday, a really amazing, up-to-date boat and the team at Marine Cruises was the best.Hayley helped us so much to start with. Thanks to Hayley and the team at Marine Cruises we got the best start, a thorough walkthrough of the boat, and although the weather could be a littlle bit better, we had a really fantastic narrowboat holiday with Marine Cruises.

Super helpful, friendly team & perfect trip!This was our first experience of canal boats and this company were amazing!We also had our trip booked for the middle of a weather warning (where we live, not where we were sailing), and they got in touch with us to check if we were ok and if we wanted to reschedule. They seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were safe.as total newbies the information packs they emailed us were invaluable and took the stress and worry out of preparing for the trip (especially as we booked last minute!)The boat itself was beautiful, immaculately clean and so well kitted out.We were comfortable and felt instantly at home.We loved every second of this holiday and can't wait to book for next year!The whole family said this was our best holiday ever (high praise from a 7&4 year old who have been to Disney!)

This was our second trip with Marine Cruises, and will not be our last. The Kimberley was a lovely, modern, comfortable boat. The Marine Cruises staff at Falkirk were friendly, helpful and efficient and quickly got us underway. With Marine Cruises nothing is too much trouble. We are looking forward to our next trip with them in September!

Fabulous vacation - our only regret was opting for three nights and not a week long trip down the canals. The team at Marine Cruises provided all the information needed, the Scottish Canals people made sure we were ready to move (slowly) through the countryside, and the boat was extremely well stocked. A great rejuvenating vacation and one we are already looking to repeat.

Hired Hayley from Swanley bridge base. The boat was for 10 people and was just perfect in every way. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. As a family, we were celebrating a father 60, and sons 30th birthday. They decorated the boat for when we arrived with banners and balloons we had sent in advance. Over the 7 days we travelled the most beautiful route to llangollen and back. The lift bridges, locks, two viaducts were just amazing. The whole experience was more than we could ever have thought. A huge thank you to the staff at marine cruises for our first class experience. We will be back.

Just back from a short trip with Marine Cruises from Falkirk on Union Canal. Excellent service from time of booking, check in and check out. Staff could not be more helpful and Barge Debbie was very well appointed. Canal staff were super friendly and helpful. Would re-book and recommend to others.

Hired a boat for a week out for of Falkirk. The booking process was straight forward, communicationsclear and timely and the customer service when collecting and returning the boat exemplary. The boat (Suzanne class) was well equipped, maintained and made for the perfect trip to Edinburgh. Would definitely recommend and use again.

What a boat and what a holiday qe had. Huge effort in presenting the boat to such a high level. Handover spot and the little extras just showed they cared. Couldnt fault.
