Shop and garden area ok. Good selection of DIY products. The cafe however gets a big thumbs down unfortunately. We visited on a Sunday at mid-day. We hoped to take advantage of what looked to be great value All Day Breakfast which was advertised on a large A Board at the store entrance. It was absolutely chaotic. They were very busy putting the Sunday carvery on fair enough - but I was assured breakfast was still available. We ordered two breakfasts and sat with our drinks awaiting the food. Despite two visits to the counter to ask if the food was on the way - after 45 minutes we lost the will so politely asked for a refund. There were several young girls - all very polite - serving the food behind the carvery but there seemed to be a lack of direction from anyone. The food we saw going out to tables looked nice. The chef was obviously under pressure delivering Sunday lunch. Don't offer an All Day Breakfast service if this can't be delivered.

We went in here to get something to eat. The staff were quite friendly and they gave us a very good service but we had to wait a long time to get our veggie burgers and had to wait even longer as they didn't have take along cups for tea and coffee. But the Burger was so good.

Love it here, great prices, lots of variety, however the coffee lets it down as it's not nearly strong enough. Skimping on coffee is a false economy!

Popped in with my brother for a breakfast whilst on a motorcycling tour of North Wales. Absolutely superb staff, superb quality cooked breakfast, and superb value for money. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you.

Very rude staff who seem annoyed to be asked any assistance etc then the illegal practice of refusing a refund (offering a credit note only) I had only purchased 5 minutes earlier but the item wasn't suitable-point blank refusing to refund and with a sneering attitude said go speak to manager if you don't like it etc! I do not recommend you use this Stermat chain of shops unless you've no other option.

I was looking forward to visiting here. However, my experience was not good.The whole place feels very disorganised with things you'd expect to find together in different places. It feels confused: Am I a garden centre or am I a hardware store?In places you could see the stock has been around for a long time due to sun faded boxes. The staff, except for one helpful outdoor gardener, didn't seem to know where anything was.We also decided to use the cafe. Service was slow. Staff were standing around behind the counter chatting rather than helping the one lady who was on the till whilst also making hot drinks. The food was ok though, only ok.

We went on Sunday 8th October 23 for Sunday lunch the cafe was busy we only wanted a small lunch it was one of the staff asked what we wanted so I asked for one beef and one turkey she gave me a number for the table and abruptly told me to go and pay my husband payed twenty pounds this did not include a drink I stood in the queue again this member of staff raised her voice we will bring the food over to your table I explained my husband is not a veggie lover she didn't look very impressed and promptly asked what does he want then I said he's OK withe potatoes but could he have carrots and musy peas and no Yorkshire pudding and that I was fine with veg when the plates came to the table my husband had garden peas and carrots you could count how many carrots and peas were on the plate one roast potatoes and I think they must have put the mash on the plate with a teaspoon it was a disgrace they have young school kids working there they didn't have clue we were really dissapointed.
