Russian Restaurant 'My Riga'
I walked past My Riga quite by accident a few weeks ago, and decided that I absolutely had to try it - both because I'd never been to a Latvian Restaurant before, and because the food advertised on the board outside was so cheap that I didn't think I had anything much to lose even if I did end up deciding that I didn't like it.Bottom line: it was absolutely lovely. There was some minor miscommunication with our server (we intended to order the pork schnitzel, but ended up with Soviet Schnitzel instead - but hey, we got the chance to try something new!), but the food was excellent, comforting and had a real home-cooked feel to it. Thoughoughly enjoyed it - especially my mystery cake (what's the cake of the day?" "...it's a bit difficult to explain." "I'll take it."). We'll definitely be back"

Food tasted like it was cooked couple of days ago and reheated today. Customer service equal to zero. If I could give -1 star, would definitely do it. One year ago when I came here to eat everything was perfect but now I'm not coming there back anymore.

Lovely traditional cuisine and home-like atmosphere. Would be especially cosy and reminiscent for Russian and Latvian clientele.

My first Russian reastraunt experience & the flavours were so authentic & unique, a refreshing change from all the 'box' chains out there these days, if you feel like something new & different & a pleasant surprise to the usual, check it out

Delicious! Went there for the first time with a friend and I loved the service and the food! Truly fantastic and very good prices! I really liked their special price where you get starters and a main dish for a incredibly cheap price! Truly recommend it to anyone!

The worse place ever the guy let us book a table we spoke with them in Latvian and also in English but they couldn't speak properly none of them as me and my boyfriend wanted to have a great Christmas meal we had to drive 1.5 hours to the place and they said they will kick us out at 8pm that made me feel like I'm going to some kind of fast food service if it takes 45 minutes to cook and serve and let people have their food in such a rushed time why would they call themselves a restaurant .I am from Latvia myself and I know what standards we have and how we would expect people to be treated .I would call this place a scam.Customer service on the call was poor .they were not understanding .they were rude .and they definitely won't see me going there .Unfortunately I heard bad things before but I wanted to give it a go but wish I listened as now we have no Christmas meal.

Russian Restaurant 'My Riga'
Loved the food and the service. Stayed a couple of nights in the appartment also owned by the manager and I can recommend this as well.If you have not tried food like this before definitely give it a go. Portions are large and tasty. (cocktail are also very nice)Ill make sure to book here again next time I am down.
