Visited this place in cardiff st melons and was greeted with a friendly smile, the customer service was spot on and the food quality was amazing. The chicken fillet dipped burger is one of the best I've had the meat ratio was spot on, the fillet was soft and delicate. The sauce had just the right kick, the chips were nice and clean. Crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The wings and strips were all very nice. Wings fell off the bone. The sauces were awesome as well.

Came across this place today. Wow a really good takeaway. Food was excellent and brilliant customer service, very friendly and helpful. Chicken was really good, lots of meat and the coating was delicious. I will be back for sure.

Credit where credit is due, Chickstar know what they are doing. The fries are the perfect level of crispy, the chicken is absolutely gorgeous and their garlic mayo really ties it all together, and the result is impressive! We tried the hot doughnuts which are made on site - and my god! Delicious! I’m am impressed and will definitely be coming back. Thanks!

Have been here a few times now and the food has always been spot on! Food is always fresh, hot and really tasty. Really good value for money. The owner is really friendly and clearly makes an effort to please his customers. I will point out it's cash only but there is a cash machine round the corner at Tesco. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place there loaded chips are so good and I love their burgers, cookie dough and shakes! One of my go to take away places! Staff are so lovely and friendly too! Amazing service would definitely would reccomend!

First time visiting Chickstar this evening and was really impressed! The food was very tasty - we had the variety meal deal which included 3pcs of chicken, chicken strips, chicken wings, chips and a drink. We also had the special sauce and coleslaw. Definitely get both when you order! The chicken wasn't greasy at all, great flavour to the batter and generous portions. The service was excellent too. We will be back!

First time visit this evening.Customer service was impeccable, really friendly and chatty.Food. the chips were fluffy and crunchy, the chicken was moist and juicy and had tonnes of flavour.And the special sauce.. damn.. so nice

Very lovely owner- I had the spicy dipped burger and it did not disappoint. Would recommend trying the doughnuts too!!
