UNITY CAFE
Had the classic breakfast. It was a mid level price for the area and had some interesting twists. Overall it was a tasty breakfast but with a few improvement that could have been made. The service was great and the staff were lovely.The areas of improvement for me would be slicing the black pudding thicker as mine was quite thin. Having the option to choose regular sausages rather than herbal ones.

The distant beat of a radio playing a song triggering memories from years past.The bustle, clatter and rumble from the back of the Cafe. I take refuge in the artificial light, looking out at the rain. People and cars rush by as I slow the pace. They click through the gears from traffic lights as I change down. The velvet roast coffee slips over my tongue and soothes my mind as much as my lips. The smell of fried breakfast comforts my senses without the calorie guilt of eating it.The trees outside drape their long loving arms like locks of hair, the rain it drips from their finger tips while they move with a subtle sway, as summer takes it's final bow the autumn moves from the wings into view. The anticipation of the dark nights offering a welcome break to the pace I've been moving at.The smile of the lady who serves me coffee, serves me a motherly warmth missing from childhood from the one who bore me. It's value is worth its weight in gold, she is blissfully unaware of the effect she had....Kane Corvus 2023

Nice clean, quiet and relaxing place with hot and iced drinks and sandwiches according to the menu. It also has a retro and current video game room. Very nice place and very friendly staff.

Overpriced for area - local burger van and snack shack much cheaper but thought I'd give it a try.Staff not attentive. I stood at the cashier over 5 minutes while they were walking past me multiple times and avoiding eye contact.Food was tasty but sausages were tough like they'd been cooked at 7am and sat under heat lamp. Wouldn't go again.

Very hectic and the staff seemed overwhelmed. I was left standing with my friend and asked to move several times and sit down although there was nowhere to sit. Expected fresh avocado but got guacamole. Smallest portions of mushrooms(canned) I've ever seen and they ration the brown sauce. I would of explained my disappointment if the check back had been meaningful. Price doesn't reflect the quality of the food.
