If you’re considering signing up to art CLASS London, go for it! I ended up signing up for a 2nd and 3rd term with Maddie who’s everything you could wish for in an art tutor. Maddie clearly explains and shows the theme for the class (lots of variety and creativity involved). On the one hand she lets you get on with your thing, but on the other, is always there to nudge you in the right direction when you need it. A bonus is the flexibility with attending an alternative class if you can’t make it at the usual time.

Highly recommend the classes with Maddie. Her passion for the subject is so infectious and she gives brilliant advice to each individual. We all really improved over the course of the term thanks to her. The lessons also made me look at works of art in a different, more appreciative way. I’m planning on signing up for the next term.

I’m so glad I found Art Class! Dubrovka is such an amazing teacher, the space is great, all the materials you might need are provided. I look forward to my weekly class and have been so inspired and enriched by the lessons. It’s the perfect combination of tutelage and freedom to explore. Equally approachable if you have little or lots of experience— Dubrovka will meet you where you are and she provides inspiration, knowledge of endless techniques and art history, and really helpful critiques/feedback. Highly recommend Art Class especially Dubrovka’s classes.

The drawing and painting class with Dubravka has been brilliant! The course is very well structured, learning about a new artist each week and working on a range of different techniques. The course allows me to be expressive and explore my own style. Would highly recommend!

A brilliant art school - I joined the intermediate classes with Maddie for a few terms to get back into the swing of art and I absolutely loved it. Maddie was supportive, reassuring and a brilliant teacher. I would recommend it to anyone thinking about getting into / back into art and I’ll definitely be back!

Had a brilliant term of 'drawing and painting for beginners' with Maddie. She is super helpful and supportive. I learned loads. Each lesson Maddie introduced us to new techniques and styles and encouraged us to experiment. I really enjoyed each session and I'll definitely be back for more!

The Sunday' session led by Rebecca is a lovely art class in an amazingly equipped studio, Each week is focused around something specific - either a medium, style of artwork or taking influence from specific artist(s) which send to work really well. My daughter is 10 and loves getting to try out lots of different stuff but still have a bit of focus. Would recommend!

Highly recommend Art Class' beginners courses. I'm halfway through my fourth term and Maddie is a brilliant teacher who really knows her stuff. She is fantastic at meeting students of any level wherever they are at and encouraging them to learn, experiment and progress.

I attended Maddie’s drawing and painting beginner course last year and am planning to join again in the future. The course catalogue offered by the school is the most comprehensive in North London, plus there is the option to join on different days of the week. Maddie is a wonderful and incredibly encouraging teacher: she has made a great impact on my decision to pursue art more as she helped me believe in myself like I never did before. Thank you Maddie!
