Tartan Tours Oban
This was a wonderful experience. Our group grew from 2 to 4 just days before the tour. Our driver/guide Gavin was absolutely wonderful! We felt he made this the best private tour experience we booked on this trip (Reykjavik to Southampton).. He was knowledgable, engaging and very flexible regarding itinerary. The tour vehicle had a back ramp which allowed the 2 of us with some mobility issues get in and out with no problems. We enjoyed the distillery tour, the countryside, a wonderful lunch at an award winning gastropub and polished it all off with a chocolate shop shop near the harbor before re-boarding our ship. A very enjoyable experience.

We booked a guided transfer from Oban to Inverness. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We saw sites and learned facts we otherwise would have missed. Thus part of the journey was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended if you need a driver or guide services while in Oban.

Our tour was outstanding! Our guide, Daryl, assured we had spectacular views of the Jacobite Steam Train, numerous castles, Glencoe, historic churches, and the natural beauty of the Highlands and rural Scotland. I can't say enough about his friendly and gracious approach to our tour, his knowledge, and his flexibility to adapt to our groups interests! Wonderful tour and outstanding guide!

My wife Carol and I had three exceptional days with Gavin and Daryll on the Isle of Mull, from Oban to Isle of Skye, and from Skye through Glencoe to Glasgow. I would heartily recommend both gentlemen and their planned tours! We approached Charlie with the desire to customize our tour and he was super accommodating and helped us achieve ''Our Plans' of what we wanted to see and do. I must also say Gavin and Daryll did so with excellent tour knowledge along with thoughtful surprises along the way!

Had a lovely time with Darryl at Tartan Tours. Charlie was lovely and helped us book in last minute. The accommodated our pick up and drop off needs- and we saw the cows, the castles, the church, the views and enjoyed the fish! Darryl was really knowledgeable and flexible! Highly recommend!

We booked a Tartan Tour to Glen Coe and were not disappointed. Our tour guide D was very knowledgeable and we have come back with great memories. If you want a memorable tour that will take you to all the places you have seen in films accompanied by stunning scenery and wildlife with a good dollop of history thrown in, then this is the tour for you!

Chris our driver was an amazing tour guide, regaling local myths and legends as well as relevant historical information. He was very friendly and we could ask questions throughout! The seafood experience with Gordon was also amazing. So tasty.
