overpriced for what was on show... the kids rides were a rip off you could see in pen where they'd changed price from 2 to 2.50 to 3 pound a go.. scandalous...

Beautiful day 25 quid for family ticket would have been reasonable if it wasnt for getting ripped off once inside .

Poynton Show
Poynton Show is great family day out. There is a horticulture tent with the national gladiolus competition, creative hobbies section with over 700 exhibits with entries from 8 to 80. The main ring features many different displays all day concluding with the grand parade. Classic cars, motorcycles, equine activities, small animals, funfair, donkeys and many more attractions. There is plenty to see and do here.

There's 2 hours of our life we will never get back- if you like awful food and millions of people this is for you- shire horses?- 5-Cows, 6? classic cars, about 12. Fairground? 1 ride- A stunt show i could almost do myself-If i had gone as a pantomime horse i would have won something, there were so few entries- probably a tray of chips?Best gerbil? try only gerbil"- on the plus side

Thank heavens for the lovely weather.Unfortunately the field was still boggy in parts and the food/craft tent was very humid and the grass underfoot was like a quagmire. Overpriced fast food trucks didn't seem as busy this year which was hardly surprising. However, the exhibits in the arenas were first rate and worth the discomfort of heat + soggy feet. No doubt I'll be back next year as it is a good day out.
