Poor condition,Poor management, very unhelpful. Old fashioned attitude, doesn’t encourage people to play. No buggies after 2pm… even though they don’t close till 7pm and bar is open late.Greens poor, no sand in bunkers, Tees unplayable, the list is too longWorse course in the area, avoid at all cost.

18hole Course: very well kept course, with nice and approachable front 9 to ease you into a challenging and very interesting back 9, well worth a play, especially for the price!Par 3 Course (pitch and putt): sadly it was absolutely awful, you get two kinds of terrain, rough or dirt, the tee boxes are lumpy and unkept, and the majority of the greens are unputtable with their combo of grassless dirt and patches of turf. If you are looking for a pair 3 visit a different facility, such as mill green (only £4 more and is immaculately kept)

Good value course. Pace of play can be slow, but it's hard to complain given the priceUpdate: played here a few times recently during the week and it's very quiet - easy to whizz round.

Probably one of the best public courses around. Very reasonably priced. Some greens not in the best condition when we visited, but overall great

A mixture of par 3 to par 5 18 hole golf course. The grounds are well kept, with plenty of parking. Cost for 18 is very competitive, and of course, the always needed club house over looking the 18th green. So no pressure. I will go back.

A proper golf course with every hole different and challenging because of the slopes and hazards. The rough areas are overgrown with lots of uncollected grass clippings , therefore difficult to find your ball if you veer off the fairway. Tee areas are shabby and the stony bunkers are unraked while ball marks on the green are rarely repaired (because of poor etiquette). Greens are a bit bobbly but generally okay for the green fee £16.50 during weekdays before 16:00. Many players on course can be irresponsibly slow with little or no empathy for the group behind (which is why they need a course manager to speed things up). Terrible problem with rabbit holes on some fairways so please be careful where you step as you can easily twist or break an ankle.

With so much choice around Hertford, this course is perfect for me as it stays normal playable in winter when other golf clubs have temporary greens and tees. Challenging slopes but that’s what golf is all about. 19th hole is always great with delayed video of 18th hole.

Not bad for the money, played here on a number of occasions.Some greens and tee boxes in poor condition but others OK, again for a public course and for the price it's kind of what you expect.Biggest issue I have is the poor etiquette, not repairing pitch marks on greens and 3 or 4 balls not letting singles or 2 balls play through but admittedly that's not the courses fault.
