Meadows & Wood Hearing Care

After struggling for weeks to overcome my loss of hearing due to ear wax, this morning I visited Meadows & Wood in Portishead for their microsuction treatment. All was Covid-19 secure. The consultation with Claire & Toby was relaxed and friendly and the treatment professional and certainly not unpleasant. The outcome was EXCELLENT and immediate. I would fully recommend them to anyone with a similar problem.

I received the ear wax removal service last week from Meadows and Wood. The process was fully compliant with the COVID requirements and felt very safe. The service was explained to me carefully and I was put completely at ease. The ear wax removal process itself was quite comfortable and painless and there was something quite satisfying about hearing and feeling the wax leaving your ear. Afterwards, there was an immediate enhancement to my hearing. I could suddenly hear the ambient sounds in the air like the wind in the trees to an extent that I could not before and I had to reduce the volume on the handset of my phone. The service provided by Meadows and Woods was very professional, safe and effective and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

After returning from holiday with blocked ears I rang for a appointment at Meadows & Wood Portishead. The service I received was exceptional, Toby & Claire were very professional and friendly. Without hesitation I recommend this practice to the highest level from start to finish my appointment was 3.00pm on the dot the receptionist was introducing herself,once in the operation room I was made to feel at my ease,no embarrassment (because I'd been poking my ears casing the problem) the operator was sympathetic and efficient explained the procedure and gently did the job,as I have said I would highly recommend this practice which I believe is a family business and should have your support

I got a appointment very quickly. Claire explained the procedure I would receive during the consultation. I was met by Claire for my appointment. Before entering I had temperature test, making sure I was ok to continue. I was then introduced to Toby, who after a short question and answer session, carried out my procedure. The whole process went smoothly and I had no pain during it. I would defiantly recommend them for all types of hearing examinations.

I have always had problems with my ears so was delighted when I found out about the services that Meadows and Wood offer. I have today had my ear microsuctioned and found Toby and Claire professional and friendly. I will definitely be going back to ensure my ears remain healthy and clear. Would recommend their services.
