JBJ Recording Studio

LOVED my time at JBJ Studio, Portobello Road. It’s such an exciting, welcoming place with incredible equipment and a friendly, creative team. The location is just amazing and the design and set up are outstanding. I’m so pleased with how my project turned out, highly recommend.

Amazing studio in the heart of west London, with world class equipment, like the ssl aws console. We stayed in the on-site residential accommodation whilst we recorded our album, the rooms were fantastic. Jamie and the team were great engineers and captured our sound perfectly.

Had an Amazing experience working with Jamie, on the drums for our new music. The guys are all super talented, professional and creative and really make you feel at home. Highly recommend this studio for your next recording or mixing.

Fantastic cheap recording studio in London, especially for the quality. The team of engineers were great in helping me take my productions to the next level, facilities and location are second to none! Definitely the best recording studio in London!

Jamie is an amazing producer and always brings out the best in me as a singer songwriter. Highly recommend the studio. They have incredible equipment and a vast amount of experience.

Have visited JBJ studios regularly since 2013 and have been amazed at James’ know-how and ability to really develop ideas and take your material to the next level. He took our basic demos to another level and gave us a glimpse of how the professionals do things and helps you make expensive sounding records on a modest budget, backed up by some of the big names he has done work for, including Suede, Bloxx, The Wombats and White Lies. Can’t recommend highly enough. He will help you get complex instrumental parts on your recordings, backing vocals, interesting percussion and construct sonic soundscapes that will give your music the platform it needs to elevate it to a higher lever

I'd just like to add that the reply to this review is downright inaccurate and an attempt to save face!1 star is too kind, shocking experience. £600 down the drain, due to incomplete mixes and attempts to charge us further at every turn when it came to the mixing process. NO USABLE MIX. On top of that, when I finally wrestled with them and managed to get the stems (which the £600 was for!) it turns out that many of the stems are unusable. Vocal recording was shocking!Said they would get us the mix finished within 3 weeks and 2 months later it turns out they aren't going to do it at all. Refused to give me the stems, Jamie Brown and Phil had stopped answering my calls/texts at this point and I only managed to get the stems off the only other man involved. They fully intended to keep that £600 without giving us what we paid for. Con artists.I DON'T WANT ANY POOR MUSICIAN TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID
