Erdington Post Office

Extremely slow service not clean either people queuing on 1 cashir on the other 2 chatting in the back the worst post office iv ever been too and the last too.

well this is a first... How can you prevent a customer entering 40 minutes before closing time?!Just been to the Erdington High St branch only to find 5 people locked out with security staff preventing entry. They said it was because they didn't want anyone coming in if they could not serve them before 5:30. I looked inside and could not see any que at the serving desks. How could they not let 5 people in? People were asking why they were not allowed in but the only reply was to go to Wylde Green post office.. i doubt a person using public transport could get there before they closed. I was doing a pick up only. I can only do that at the branch where it was located. I needed that parcel and to be turned away with 40 minutes before closing time and only 5 customers outside was a disgrace. I'm used to half an hour waiting with only one person serving but this is taking the biscuit. The Post Office need to sort this out.. a main post office in a busy high street?

I am happy with the service this post office provide. We use it for more than 7 years they have never shown any wrong attitude. Sometimes it is taking very long to get sorted out because there are only one or two persons working with clients. But all the rest are perfect.

Any particular reason why at 15:30, only one member of staff was serving ? Other member appeared to be counting euroes. While a queue of 8 deep people and building continued to wait ? In the end I went to WHS desk and bought stamps and posted the item myself. I did want to do recorded delivery but I didn’t have all year to wait in a queue.

Open for long hours Monday to Saturday. The staff behind the counters are professional and polite keeping in mind they work with Erdington people who can be rude, aggressive and entitled through benefits. They maintain dignity.I have never had any problems with the post office or staff since using it in 2009 and they have always met my needs. I am grateful for their services.

Charged £96.16 for €100. Liberty. Going rate online at £,86 14. Lesson learnt, stay clear of erdington post office

9am massive que of around 15 people 1 serving & its disgusting the post office area needs a good clean sweep and mop, there was flies also. I'm guessing Whsmith has its own cleaner.

Cashier was extremely rude. Shouting at queuing customer's about where to stand? Well over 5 metres away from the counter plus mask mandates are over. Simply another 1 thinking she's in a position of power and not just a post office cashier. She was about 30. Black female. Reality check needed.
