Great experience... got a fabulous curly haircut. The stylist was knowledgeable and skilled and brought my curls back to life. Would definitely recommend!

I love this hair salon. It has a great atmosphere, and the stylists are all lovely. Jenny in particular gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had, and I’m so happy to have found a place that truly gets how to cut curly hair!

Iv had a few curly cuts in Edinburgh but lipstick lashes and locks is by far the happiest I have ever felt walking out a hair dresser (I didn't even tie it up). Tina was great at wee hints and tips for how to keep my curls good. This place was worth every penny. I think after 10years of fighting the curls, iv finally found my regular hairdresser! Thanks

By far the best haircut I have ever had. I don't exactly have curly hair, it is more wavy but it truly takes its shape depending on what you do with it, nevertheless I have learnt a lot about how to daily style and treat my hair thanks to this place. Since I was younger I would just straighten it because I did not know better and was the easy option.I wanted a change of look. I think my appointment was with Amy. She washed it, cut it, styled it and then perfected the cut when dry. She asked what product I usually use so she styled it curl by curl with Cantú, and also use some oil(wish I remember which). It really felt like she was doing some kind of intricate and dedicated art. For how specialised this place is, the price is completely worth it.Here I'll attach a before and after of that day X

Tina and Jenny did the hair and make up for myself, my 5 bridesmaids and my mum at my recent wedding. They travelled up to the Cairngorms for the wedding, were brilliant all through the planning (and postponing!) process and everyone commented on our beautifully done our hair and make up was. All 7 of us have fairly different hair and skin, but Tina and Jenny were brilliant at adapting. Tina did a particularly beautiful job with my sister's very curly hair. On the day, nothing was too much, including minor change and top up requests. My trial day was also a great experience. I'm so glad I chose such talented hair and make up artists!

I had a dry cut with Amy and she did a fantastic job. I was really happy with my cut, it was exactly what I’d wanted. She also gave me great advice around colouring my hair. I will be back!

Jenny was lovely and cut my daughters shoulder length curly hair into a short funky style. My daughter had been very nervous beforehand but Jenny was relaxed and made a great job. She consulted her throughout and advised her on how to maintain it. Thank you ❤️

I took my teenage daughter for a long awaited haircut to Lipstick Lashes and Locks and she loved her experience there. Jenny was friendly and approachable with my daughter, who didn't feel she was listened to at her previous hairdresser at a well known hairdressing chain in Edinburgh. This time she felt she was treated with respect, not patronise and spoilt from beginning to end. Thank you Jenny. We will be back!
