St Patrick's Links, Rosapenna Golf Resort

This is surely one of the finest golf courses in the world. I'd say the greens are the most interesting in Ireland, with shades of the old course at st Andrews in that different pin positions dramatically change the strategy of holes back to the tee. The drama and scale of the course would compare well against places like Royal Portrush, with far better variety of ground movement too. The views are fantastic and there really isn't a weak hole out there. It's a golf course which will impress on first visit but will only improve with repeat plays- it most definitely belongs toward the top of the world rankings. As with absolutely any new course, the conditioning wasn't perfect but I was having far too much fun to care.

St Patrick's is an incredible golf course. A truly memorable experience. It's a forgiving enough golf course with wide fairways but the greens are big but you can easy 4 putt if you're not careful. Look forward to my next visit

This has the potential to be a fabulous course. Beautiful Tee boxes with good greens. Some terrible fairways.We were warned that some had patches but the photo says otherwise.Beautiful views with some excellent holes.As I said. Few more years of growing and tidying up and will be fabulous

Some of the footpaths are just dangerous.Buggies are not allowed - would be crashes for sure. Must take a trolley/pull cart.Most fairways have lots of bare spots. Very rare to have grass under the ball.No divot bags or sand available.Greens are ok.Signage is pretty basic.Not much in way of distance markers.The course must not be GPS mapped yet as our GPS watches got crazy readings - leave your Garmin at home.Clubhouse is just a prefab trailer.No food or drink.Poor signage to find the course off the main road, and then on to a dirt road.Views are stunning.Playing the course is “work”, not fun.

Genuinely, as a course it exceeded the hype that I had read on various reviews. Best course ive ever played bar none and theres been more than a few. Stunning views, fairways are massive and very fair. But a tip for all visitors.... practice your chipping and putting or this course eat you up.

An amazing golfing experience. Challenging but fun golf. Great setting. Wide fairways mean there are multiple ways to go about each hole. Truly feels like you could be setting out on an adventure. Rolling challenging greens make you short game and approaches into the green more important. You really have to think your way around the golf course. Played in 3 times and it keeps getting better. Could be the best course west of County Down! They've done a great job.

Incredible course which has matured beyond belief in just one year! 100% recommended to all discerning golfers who want to play the best courses in Ireland. Definitely a very significant addition to the Irish golf scene.

St Patrick’s links at Rosapenna is the culmination of a great partnership between the Caseys and the creative geniuses at Renaissance design. Superlatives can’t do the majesty of the site and the exquisiteness of the course justice. The holes have been lovingly created amongst the dunes, so expertly that you can’t tell what’s built and what’s original nature.There’s nothing like this in Europe, let alone Ireland. As it matures it will undoubtedly be considered worthy of consideration at the top table of world golf. Get there quick before the secrets out

As the grasses continue to grow in and mature this absolute gem of a course will gain world acclaim...So spectacular and so much fun!

Beautiful links course. Very spacious, well signposted on the course, only one blind hole, and overall in fabulous condition. It's a gem and a treat to play. Highly recommended.
