From a professional perspective, I hardly recommend all my colleagues to avoid working on the site.I did a shift lately and I was paid on a lower grade. Although I have worked there before and never had an issue similar to that, unfortunately it now happened. And don't take me wrong. The issue isn't in the small difference of a very few pences more, but that changes the entire profile and stains it badly. You need to work for at least an year to recover from the bad impact and get back to where you were before. As I said my comment has nothing to do with the care provided ,but just to let people know they should be careful if decided to try work on the site.

I was sent here by my Drs for an emergency appointment. I had to walk across town with a Asthma and a chest infection. As such I was slightly late to the appointment. Not really my fault, I was seen by who I can only describe as a nurse with the ability to prescribe. They did not seem to know much about asthma or my condition, not knowing that the pink inhaler is actually a reliever was my first clue. Then refusing to prescribe steroids which I normally receive was the second. If someone needs a Drs appointment then they should be seen by a Dr. Please do better, thanks.

Phone number not updated online so had to get there with ankle injury. No x- ray on site, been adviced to see doctor in Bracknell urgent care centre for x ray without calling 111... Fortunately called 111 as in Bracknell not taking walks in and there is no x ray on weekends....better to avoid, fake hospital, fake staff and fake informations are given

Seen straight away, and although I felt like I wasted their time, they changed a finger dressing and no longer in agony! So thank you St Marks, I can drive now and return to work on Monday.

I was told to head to an Urgent Care Centre and St Mark's was my closest one. I hobbled in around 4pm on 12th October and was met by reception staff, who (when they finished talking) asked me what I needed. I explained and was told in a very dismissive tone that no, I couldn't be treated there. I waited for more, but none was forthcoming. So, as I was delivering my next question, I could see that one ignorant lady in particular couldn't wait to interrupt me - she was itching to tell me no. I asked if it was a walk-in and was told no. I said, oh is it MIU and they said no. So I asked if it was for urgent treatment and they said yes, but I couldn't have an appointment as they were full and they only took 111 referrals. This was news to me. It was such a shocking service. I understand if there really isn't an available appointment (even though it's 'Urgent Care'), but I do not understand the dismissive and really mean attitude by the reception staff, in particular, the bob-haired lady who wasn't even 'serving' me, but spoke across her colleague to eagerly tell me they weren't interested, probably close to the end of her shift. Such a nasty experience. I was tempted to go back in, but I thought there was no point as some people can't be helped, they're just rude. This is my experience, hopefully, others have had better.
