Vernon Park Gymnastics Club

After doing our research on gymnastics clubs within the Stockport/ Manchester area, we decided to try a taster session at VPG. We haven’t looked back, we wanted our daughter to enjoy learning gymnastics without feeling any pressures. This club has a warm family feel about it, Dan & all the team are so welcoming, skilled & supportive. We have seen her gymnastics skills develop, and her overall confidence boosted. She absolutely loves this club and the competitions.I honestly can’t recommend VPG enough.We also recently booked a party at VPG, and the kids had a great time. All 3 of my girls go to Vernon Park, the eldest has been coming about 5 years and come on massively with her skills. The coaches are all so lovely and genuinely caring about the children and helping them to achieve their best. They are encouraging and nurturing. Wouldn't have them go anywhere else they all love it.

Our daughter has been attending classes for well over a year and can’t get enough. She’s learned so much, loves the competitions and can’t wait for every class.

Vernon Park Gymnastics is an awesome resource within Stockport, fantastic facilities for your child to learn and develop their Gymnastics skills.The coaches are skilful and enthusiastic. My children have both attended over the years and my youngest in particular cannot wait for her sessions each week!

50 min session with half of it wasted on barely doing anything,last time I was there was 4 instructors with 2 sitting about doing nothing,the group split up to do different things and are 95% of the time left to it,nothing is really taught and if they do help a child it’s for 10 seconds! I don’t understand why they don’t break the groups up and have an instructor with each group teaching them! Total waste of money it is!

The most useless session and children activities I’ve ever seen honestly.After 2 years taking my daughters and wasting time and money, none of them even can do just a single task at all, not only my children, their friends parents have the same comment when I ask them about my experience … less than a 50 min session with half of it wasted on doing anything.4 instructors with 2 sitting about doing nothing.Nothing is really taught and if they do help a child it’s for few seconds!! Total waste of time & money it is!Think about somewhere else

Booked a birthday party for 25 children for my 9 year old daughter on Easter Sunday for nobody to turn up!! We ended up in Run of the Mill luckily. No apology, no contact, no refund of deposit. Disappointed children and disgusting behaviour from the owners. Apparently this is about the 5th time this has happened. Basically if he can't be bothered, he doesn't turn up.

My daughter has been with Vernon park for over 5years. She absolutely loves it and what they have turned her into and helped her achieve is amazing, their determination, care, knowledge and guidance go above and beyond.The coaches at Vernon park make everyone feel so welcome and when my daughter is there she says it feels like home, it’s a big family at Vernon park that continuously grows and we love being part of it. I recommend Vernon park to all my family and friends as I know if there children wanted to do gymnastics they would be so happy and comfortable here, my daughter has gone from a shy quiet girl, to someone who has so much more confidence and Vernon park has contributed massively to this. The time the coaches invest in all there gymnasts I couldn’t ask for more. I have tried several clubs before we settled here and it’s the best club by far, the fees are really reasonable and worth every penny for the expertise and coaching.

The 2-4year old class on a Saturday morning is brilliant. A great balance of learning new skills, exploring the equipment in a fun and safe environment. I’m impressed with the skills my son has learnt in such a short space of time. Nina and Becky are fantastic with the kids, enthusiastic and welcoming and my little boy loves coming here.

Fantastic club, my daughter is absolutely thriving having grown in confidence since joining the gym. This gym has a lovely family feel to it and the coaches are very nurturing, knowing each child's strengths and focus points. Cannot recommend enough.
