We had great service from Abstract Flooring from first consultation through to the final seal coat on the microcement floor they installed in our lounge / kitchen / diner extension. Delighted with the results and it has been much admired by friends and neighbours.

We opted for the Amtico Sienna Oak plank flooring having had a number of discussions with Abstract about the pros / cons of a number of options. Steve (the chap I was dealing with) was brilliant from the outset and took the time to answer any question I had.What set them apart from flooring firms I've used previously was the 'pre-installation' site checks where they came out to satisfy themselves the sub-floor was sufficient. Others simply put a caveat in the sales particulars whereas Abstract wanted it done right first time.If you're after a good quality, customer-focussed and seamless flooring experience...don't hesitate. Steve and the Team fitted our Karndean and Amtico herringbone flooring in our first home and we were blown away with the results. When I got my first glimpse before we officially moved in, it was better than I had ever imagined. It has really made the whole house feel so much more special and luxurious. I am over the moon with the results - everyone who sees our home compliments the floor, it really is the feature thanks to Steve and the guys at Abstract.We had several quotes for the same product/fitting from other local companies who were wanting to charge a lot more, and we’re also advising that the metallic feature strip we wanted would not be possible... however in Steve’s words ‘where there’s a will there’s a way!’ - it’s this work ethic that made me realise we had 100% made the right choice.Being a new build property aswell our completion date moved several times which was extremely frustrating. Steve was fantastic though and kept up constant communications with ourselves and the Site Manager in order to work with everyone to get the job done for us before we moved in.It really has been an amazing experience and even the after sales care has been brilliant, so really can’t fault them one bit. After carefully researching Amtico fitters that cover the West Midlands region, we had the pleasure of engaging Abstract Flooring Co. Initially this was to install Amtico Form Rural Oak Parquet to a front reception room.As my property is rather old and the sub floors uneven, I was worried about how best the Amtico would be laid. Different providers and a number of different suggestions, Steve and his team were very punctual and Steve travelled across from Coventry to provide some expert advice (at no cost to myself). Ultimately I opted to go with Abstract as I found Steve to be honest, punctual and competitively priced.Steve installed the Amtico Form Rural Oak Parquet (pictures to follow) and it was a perfect engagement throughout.I subsequently engaged Abstract on a second occasion to install the same Amtico Form Rural Oak Parquet to a second reception room. Even though Abstract were extremely busy with other engagements, they managed to fit my job in and once again I was extremely pleased with the service.The Abstract team are a real pleasure to work with, very professional, punctual and approachable.From my own experiences, I would not hesitate to engage Abstract again in future or recommend them to friends/family.
