Had a Carbon Monoxide alarm go off on Friday morning and then gas supply turned off. Phoned up Jon and he had some one out that morning followed by a personal visit to explain everything in straight forward manner. Work started that Monday and we had a new boiler, hot water and heating by Tuesday.It was a big job too as we needed a new boiler and replacement pipework, plus we decided to change the position of the new boiler installing a new flue through the roof. The guys were professional, friendly, did a great job and tidied up after themselves.Great service, professional job with no corners cut and came at the price tag I was originally quoted.

I called Haggart Plumbers due to a big leak from our tenement bathroom flat into downstairs neighbours flat. I had previously been calling and messaging other places who either didnt respond, were giving ridiculous rates or couldnt give me any availability. Haggart Plumbers answered the phone straight away and managed to give me same day availability. Plumbers came and checked everything out and determined reason for the leak efficiently and sorted it out there and then. Would highly recommend putting your trust in this company - I was away from Edinburgh at the time of the problem and they helped out in a stressful situation. Will be coming back if I need anything plumbing related in the future.

Excellent service. Turned up dead on time at 9am as arranged to replace an our very old hot water cylinder, disconnect a water tank in the attic and connect the new cylinder to the mains. The new pressurised cylinder required a new pipe to be run from a hall cupboard, down the hall, through a bedroom and out to the exterior of the property. Carpets and floorboards had to be lifted for this but they were replaced perfectly, you literally couldn't tell they been up once the job was finished. The guys worked right through and finished the job by mid-afternoon. They talked me through all the work and tested the water pressure in every tap. We now have plentiful hot water and great water pressure throughout. First class job and I would certainly recommend!

Had two emergency call-outs to help us fix an issue with a potential leak in our new flat. Both of them were reasonably priced but the 2nd visit was thorough enough to identify with certainty that our flat was not the cause of the leak.Potentially we could have ended up taking the bathroom tiles up and the floorboards before getting the answer but they were able to patiently wait downstairs while all of the appliances were run in the flat for 30 mins to make sure that we were not the source of the leak.

We recently used Haggart plumbers to replace our old Gas Boiler. There estimates dept called round to look over the works.The provided is with several options , the fitted a Valiant Combi boiler. All the work was carried out within 2 working days, the left a very clean and professional job. Took away old boiler and left house clean and tidy. First Class service. With full 10yr warranty.Definitely use this company again. And would recommend to anyone.

The top floor of a one hundred and twenty year old Edinburgh tenement has equally old drainage issues, kitchen sink drains in particular! Never mind - the engineer who visited to unblock it came promptly, isolated the problem, had the necessary tools and it was done and dusted within half-an-hour. Superb service from a local business!

Have had both a boiler service and a radiator replaced. Very punctual on both occasions and the work was done quickly and straightforwardly.

Haggarts did a lovely job transforming my tired old bathroom into a modern attractive one. It was a total refurb including walls and floors.

Very poor communication regarding their costs. No call out rates on website. No call out rates detailed via email when I enquired about them coming to quote for a job. Decided to go with a different company and received an £84.00 invoice from Haggart. They need to be more upfront about costs in future. I also found the tone of the emails from boss Jon upsetting.
