Such a wonderful place to stay. Ideal location, very peaceful and wonderful breakfasts. Bread baked fresh each day, home made chutney, marmalade and veggie Glamorgan sausages, just brilliant. All the people who work there are happy, interested and hard working. The rooms were good, but they are rather small and there was no real window in our bedroom, which had a tiny lounge area with glazed doors and windows at the front. The cobwebs in the bathroom ceiling were not disturbed by the cleaning, but everything else was very clean and fresh. Although there was a temporary fault with the underfloor heating, we were plenty warm enough without having to use the temporary free-standing heater that was thoughtfully provided.I think we were lucky to be the only guests most of the time, although there were people there for odd nights during our stay and the layout of the rooms mean that you are very aware of those in neighbouring rooms. Not all guests seemed to realise that they were drowning out the peace and quiet of birdsong. We thought that it would feel a bit too crowded if all the rooms were occupied. The internet was intermittent, which would not have been particularly problematic except that the TV ran from the WiFi, so when the WiFi was down, there was no TV.The surroundings are glorious. Walks start at the door of the accommodation so there is no need to drive anywhere to go on a hike. And there is a beautiful little church next door, ancient and interesting with a little brook running alongside. This really is an idyllic place and I hope we may return some time soon!

Amazing location. Stunning views from the field with the shepards cottage. We were given a very friendly welcome and nothing is too much trouble for the people who run the B&B. There is a little cove a quick walk down to the sea so you could easily spend a lot of relaxing time without needing to drive anywhere. The accommodation was really well presented. Would definitely go back again.

Absolutely wonderful place. It’s situated in gorgeous countryside, just a few minutes walk down a tree lined path to a lovely beach. The cottage we stayed in was super clean and lovely, with a view out on to the grounds and a powerful hot shower. The hosts are delightful and the cooked breakfasts delectable. Go and stay!

Me and my wife had a mini honeymoon here, it was such a wonderful place, we stayed in the apple store with a great Jacuzzi, the setting was so nice and Jo and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The apple store was a wonderful little living space with a nice fire and comfy sofa and bed, and the breakfast in the morning was amazing, all locally sourced which makes such a big difference. The location of the bnb was great as well being so close to lots of nice towns, beaches and nice pubs with great food.Jo was a wonderful host, she couldn't have done more. Will definitely come back here again!

Our visit was awesome. The B&B is billed as a 4 star…true. Service as a 5 star….very true. Jan was very accommodating to our needs going beyond the call of duty to meet our hiking requirements. She is an excellent cook using the finest ingredients.

A lovely place to stay, and a very warm welcome. Amazing location, and just a short walk through the woods to the beach. It was early in the season, but we visited it 3 times and never saw another soul there. It was lovely to be able to use the hot tub on the cold nights staying in The Apple Store and then head back in to the warmth of the log burner. Perfect end to end winter and start Spring. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. Glamorgan sausage were hands down the best I've ever had, and I've tried a lot!! Homemade bread and marmalade were also spot on. Was lovely chatting to the effervescent Jo, and it was like saying goodbye to a new friend when we left, after just two night. Will definitely return.

Fabulous b&b run by a friendly family. The location is great for visiting Skomer island and you'll be certain to get tickets because your lovely host will fetch them for you while you're quietly eating your delicious breakfast. Beautiful house, beautiful premises, all well kept. You feel like you're staying at your friends country house where everything is done with love. Happy to have been here :) And btw, the food at the local pub is alright now!
