I qualified as a massage therapist in 2018 and had the pleasure of working with and learning from all the excellent teachers and tutors at MSMB. I can truly say they set me up for success in this career. The level and quality of training is outstanding, and after becoming qualified I immediately felt like my skills were above and beyond other massage therapists I’d been to, and I KNOW it’s due to the training I received. I had the support I needed when I needed it throughout my career development and now I am training in Indian Head Massage 5 years after my initial diploma. If you’re looking to be trained as a holistic massage therapist I cannot recommend MSMB enough.

I came to train here several years ago and never left or looked back, adding additional qualifications as I goThe courses are amazing value for money, delivered by tutors who are passionate about bringing massage into the wider public arena and ensuring that practitioners have a level of education and underpinning knowledge to ensure safe practice. Course materials are in depth and delivered in ways that are fun and involving and are accessible for all learners and are adapted to accommodate individual needs.Im so glad I found this school and would definitely recommend it as a place to learn all things massage. You come as a stranger and leave as part of a bigger family"."

I completed my training with Julie and her team in July this year (2023). I was working full time alongside the course.Julie and her team are are all lovely, kind hearted and professional. Julie's style of teaching helped me to understand even the more complex areas within anatomy physiology and pathology. And the massage demonstrations and practice exercises were really valuable for my development. Each teaching weekend felt both well structured and also intimate, as it didn't just cover massage strokes but challenged us to become reflective practitioners and to be aware of what we bring with us to our work with clients (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually) - something necessary for holistic practitioners.Julie's depth of knowledge and skill of massage techniques, anatomy, physiology and pathology (AP&P) was way beyond what I expected, when I applied initially just for the 1 day taster day. The course is jam packed and you learn so much. Julie clearly had put a lot of effort and thought into varying the teaching methods and making resources, which catered for people with different learning needs. Early on, I had fleeting doubts about whether it was too much to learn (something which Julie did say we might feel initially), however we were encouraged to trust in the process and in our capacity to retain the information through repetition and surely enough, the structure included more than enough support and time with revision for reinforcement of earlier learning, reflected in an AP&P exam result I was proud of and feeling confident and competent enough to pass the practical.I did have to put my training on hold due to a few personal circumstances and Julie was supportive with helping me to get back on track when I was ready to resume.I'd definitely recommend the course and I'm grateful not only for my qualification but also for the experience.

An Empowering Holistic Massage School ExperienceMy journey throughout the Midlands School of Massage and Body Work was nothing short of transformative. The learning environment was incredibly welcoming, and the curriculum covered everything from massage techniques to understanding the body's interconnectedness. What made this school exceptional was its focus on mind, body, and spirit integration in massage therapy. It aligned perfectly with my spiritual awakening, emphasizing the healing power of love and intention.Hands-on practice was abundant, allowing us to gain confidence and prepare for the real world. Beyond skills, the school encouraged personal growth and self-awareness, echoing my own journey of self-discovery.

I have just completed the holistic massage level 4 diploma at MSMB and can honestly say it has changed my life. The course is really comprehensive I've left with such a broad understanding of massage, the support and resources are brilliant and the tutors are absolutely amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend any of the training courses here (so much so I've actually just started another one!)

I recently completed the one day introduction to Holistic Massage workshop. I was quite apprehensive about attending, particularly having a disability and wasn't sure about how I was going to fit in with the other students. But I need not have worried; both staff and students were so friendly and kind and I was made to feel like a valued member of the group. The workshop was very informative; it was amazing how much we were taught just in those few hours and was really useful having the hands-on experience. Would highly recommend this session to anyone who is interested in learning about massage.

I completed the Holistic and Therapeutic Massage Therapy Diploma level 4. I started the course in 2019 and this course changed my life. I was introduced to different wellbeing approaches that would not just support clients but support myself and I learnt so much about me during this course and I grew as a person. My amazing tutors were the one and only Julie and the incredible Fran. Unfortunately lock down hit and the time, effort and support they both went in order for us to be able to gain our qualifications didn’t go unnoticed. We felt like a little family. We was made to feel comfortable, no one judged you for who you were. The course itself was challenging but it was worth it all, we learnt everything so that we can provide a safe service to our clients. They teach you from the basics up and I am so happy I chose this school as they’ve taught me the real and right way for massage therapy, every approach is covered literally. 3 years into qualifying now and it was the best decision I ever made. At the time my twins were 3 years old and it seemed impossible but my tutors were there to support me along the way and allowed me to see the vision. So if you have children and wonder how you’ll do it. You can! I did! :)

I qualified as a level 4 holistic massage therapist with the school in 2018. Since then I have continued to refresh and increase my knowledge and skills through the range of courses offered and supported by the school. My latest addition is the Indian Head massage which is also an accredited course. I love meeting and learning with like minded individuals who all share their experiences as well as the great support of the tutors.
