Company was organised to do a job by our property manager.Engineer Jack left our heating on at 30 degrees after doing his checks. He notified his manager the next day that apparently us the ‘tenants’ left the heating on in over 20 degree weather, which we have never done. Even with previous inspections.Considering the current crisis we are consistently mindful of switching on our thermostats, heating and electric usage. Yet the day we allow a trusted business to enter the property they cost us money leaving the heating on. To add this they sent two people into the property when only one was documented as doing the inspection, which is very shady as for evidence and safety purposes everyone who enters the property for any job should be documented within the work. Especially if no one’s home and we cannot account if any of our property goes missing.We Would never recommend this company to anyone. We have had to go through trading standards to seek an apology and reparations for the cost of the heating being on and using fans etc to cool down our property.The engineer even decided work in the 30degree heat we ‘supposedly’ left on. Yet if they were a decent tradesperson, to do their job they could quite simply switch off the heating, as we weren’t home. Plus regardless they could’ve switched it off anyway if the flat was too hot as they stated themselves, if it was such an inconvenience switch it off. Not report it to their manager 24 hours later, which looks like they remembered they left it on and to cover themselves blamed us as the tenants for leaving the heating on at 30 degrees in 20 degree heat.Shocking and poor service, with no apology and reparations. With the current climate get a company that is meticulous, is conscious of the finer details and I’d have any concerns relays it back to tenants or property owners immediately. Not leave their property in a compromising position.Just to add due to the temperature, my partner also went off work with heatstroke today. So also, this is a major health hazard.

David and his team are highly professional & knowledgeable in the work they carry out. I had an issue with my heating system which was resolved very swiftly. David advised me exactly what needs to be done by replicating my heating system configuration in form of a diagram so i can understand the issues and how it can be resolved. The quote provided was reasonable and work was carried out on agreed date.Definitely recommend Midland Boilercare and will use them again for all my heating and plumbing works.

Midland Boilercare were recommended to me by The Heating Hub for a replacement boiler and an upgrade to my system. David Hickey contacted me and came to look at what I needed and spent a very thorough two hours asking me questions, taking measurements etc. After a few days he sent me a very detailed specification of work that he recommended. This was a replacement combi boiler with replacement TRVs and the complete removal of existing tanks in the loft and hot water cylinder. I accepted his quotation and the work has been done to a very high standard. The fitters were excellent to have in the house and tidied up afterwards very thoroughly. The system works very well with a 12year guarantee on the boiler. David has supervised the work, visiting us to ensure we were happy with the work done.We are an elderly couple and were quite nervous about having this work done, but we needn't have worried. We can recommend them very highly.

Excellent service! Dave is very friendly and knowledgeable he explained what was happening and even went to the yard and returned within 20 minutes with a ignition circuit board, now we got hot water and heating. Hooray!I highly recommend them thank you Midland Boilercare LTD

Faultless service. Dave and his team were called in after we were severely let down by British Gas. Dave and Callum were able to source and fit a replacement part, around two weeks quicker than British Gas quoted to. The service was impeccable. All work was described to me in advance, and during the actual job. Appointments were kept, and the team worked tirelessly to make sure we were kept warm! Seriously, I can’t recommend them enough. Thanks Dave and Callum!

The polite lads that came to do the job was fantastic!!They was very polite tidy and professional.Some things changed slightly and they was more than happy to help with ideas and ways around things.As my hubby was at work I had to call and ask his opinion a few times and they was very patient and happy to communicate with him through calls.The initial visit from David was fab too as he told us what and how things needed to be done and was very professional and helpful.Definitely will use them again when I need more work like this done !!

I asked them to quote for my new build house and dave came out to survey the job and spent a significant amount of time with me. I never had any further information back so I called them again and dave came out again as he wanted to take another look. Again he went away and we heard nothing. I chased him for weeks and he constantly claimed he was working on it. Needles to say he never quoted the job he just messed us around for approximately 6 weeks. Dave claimed to be an extremely qualified engineer but after he told me a 2000 litre buffer tank would rise in temperature by 45 degrees within 45 minutes using a 30 kw boiler i started to have my doubts and I ended up giving the job to another plumber. This guys calculations were out by 4 and a half hours. Clearly this company is claiming to have knowledge it doesn't have. My advice is look elsewhere.

Fantastic service! David took the time to explain how the instulation would be conducted.The new boiler was fitted ,and everywhere was left clean and tidy. It's refreshing to find a company who take pride in their work, and have the customers best interests at heart. I would definitely recommend this company.
