Wonderful day in Chiltern Open Air Museum. There is so much to see and learn about history. Tickets are not expensive and there is a large free parking on site. You can spend good few hours discovering this lovely place and enjoying lovely landscape. Have your picknic bag ready.

Nice open air museum. It shows parts ofVictorian country life and a bit of Iron Age, furniture making and WWI as well. There are different buildings to visit and animals to see. There are also some activities like candle making (for a fee). There are two mobility scooters to borrow for free for those with mobility issues, though as most buildings are quite small, it would require leaving it outside and walking in.There's just two small things I would suggest. First, to improve signage a little bit with call to action as well. There's a café so it'd be nice to know from outside what it offers or what are the prices. There's a hut where women were sewing, if it's something visitors can do then it could be stated outside. There could be another one outside the candle hut saying come do your own candle!" Or something like that and a price next to it.Second

Really nice open-air museum. Some of the buildings are a time capsule that even smells like the old days. I was lucky to visit the Museum in a sunny and very quite weekday, so I walked relax and visited all the buildings alone. The coffee shop have nice cakes and drinks and plenty of places to seat. It's worthy the visit.

We haven't been since before the Pandemic, I must say it has got even better and as the had the Victorian acts there and we had so much fun the lady in the shop was so lovely and welcoming and the space in general was fantastic.

A large park, with multiple historical buildings that were either relocated to it or built. Expect a bit of walking, and the staff are happy to help elderly and disabled visitors to move around in a golf cart. Lots of volunteers that clearly like this museum and are happy to explain the content of the buildings and their historical period. There is also an horticultural side that are linked to the buildings. Great place to bring elderly people for a bit of nostalgia. Plenty of activities for children, too.

Great open air museum. Only down side is there is no cafe to have food. But there are tables for picnic or you can buy juices, ice cream or coffee at the shop.

Really interesting outdoor museum with a large number of buildings particularly liked the prefab and the chapel, the volunteers on site were enthusiastic and helpful allow a good 3 hours to visit the site, parking was free and the onsite cafe served reasonably priced drinks, cakes and light meals admission charges were also very reasonable

Really lovely place to have a wander but is very much weather dependent. We went on a day where they had an old classic car show on which added to the experience nicely. You could maybe stay a full day with little ones but not as much for older ones once you’ve looked around. Beautiful gardens and very dog friendly. There is a wonderful play area all made out of tree trunks. There is a a small cafe which was very busy so we had lunch from the food trucks which were there for the car show. Small gift shop at the entrance with some cute products - can highly recommend the vanilla and cherry shortbread!
