Mio Restaurant & Bar
Great place, was busy all the time and had really great staff. Bruschetta had really fresh ingredients and needed a bit of salt and balsamic to bring out its best flavours. The Spaghetti Bolognese was just right. Would def go back again for simple classic lunch

I had a really nice gnocchi there. I think price wise is quite balanced with quality.Nice cozy restaurant for some Italian food close to the central station.

Mio is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The food quality belies the prices. Plus, if one desires, they can watch the chefs cook their dinner as the small kitchen is part of the main dining area but sealed off by a glass partition. I had the ravioli main course, it just melted in the mouth. £43 for 2, 2 cokes, starters, 2 mains, and a desert, including service charge. One could pay almost double that in the local vicinity of Victoria. Easy.

A very popular place. We had to wait in line because there was no space. But the attention of the waiters was very nice. Service fee was 12.49%

Very lucky getting a table via walk in on a Saturday night. The food was amazing, even my dish of pesto gnocchi - which on paper is a simple dish - the pesto tasted fresh and so rich and creamy, I couldn’t stop craving it the next day!!! (Need to learn how to make that pesto!) Great portion sizes, my partner’s pizza was huge and delicious as I stole a slice.Service was accommodating and friendly and played a part in the homely aspect of the atmosphere.Prices are extremely reasonable - 2 mains, 2 desserts, a beer and a large house red came to £27 each.Another thing I noticed, a good few tables had Italians seated which I think is strong indicator of the quality of the food.5 stars as we left as very happy and contented customers. I actually work in the area so will definitely swing by again! So if you want good quality fresh Italian food, this is the place to go. Although we were walk ins, if you’re thinking of coming here the restaurant is quite small so definitely book ahead so you’re not disappointed.Thank you Mio Restaurant & Bar!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went with the family for a meal last night. The food tasted good and the front of house staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. When we arrived there was not a table available so the team took our telephone number and called us twice to keep us informed on when the table was available.Unfortunately the restaurant had a new pizza chef and the service was very slow, our starters came out 10 minutes apart (thankfully the kids food came first). Again when the main course arrived there was a ten minute wait for the whole order to arrive, then my husband realised his calzone was missing a vital ingredient, no ham only cheese n mushroom. The staff were very apologetic, replaced the meal and didn’t charge us.So, a bit of a mixed evening. We don’t live local but if we did I’d give the place another try as the staff were so friendly and we loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. Also, for London the prices were very reasonable.

Omg It was the nicest Italian I have had in a long time.Atmosphere was laid back and fun.Only in london for two days, so was in comfy clothes not dressy, and you didnt feel out of place.Staff so so nice.Food was out in less then 5 minutes. In and out in half hour and off on our travels again with a full belly. Also bill only 40 pound.Win win.

My son and I had lunch here last week. Lovely, small restaurant just off the beaten track. Always packed. We were greeted well and all service was excellent as was the food.My son had the mushroom cream bruschetta and I had the burrata. The mushrooms were succulent and the sauce was wonderful. The pizza bread was gobbled by us both.My son’s pizza was delicious as was the linguine. I wanted to lick the plate. The kitchen is viewable by the customers dining and what a treat to watch the pasta and pizza chefs work.Mio has a lovely atmosphere and the food is some of the best Italian I have ever had.And although we didn’t have the calzone, my so remarked on how delicious it looked. And for this part of London, the prices are very reasonable.
