Wow speechess. Waited a month for a letter, to find out they lost my records. DO NOT REGISTER OR BOTHER WITH THIS DOCTORS. Will be talking this further, above them to get answers for why I waited a month in pain to have to wait another month to get my letter because I had to reschedule. Unbelievable. . .

Very bad experience with Doctors at Parkside Surgery. Suffering from mental health issues for 10+ years. After a phone call from one of the doctors several weeks ago, I attempted to take my own life - as was told 'cant do anything for you' and wished me 'goodluck'.Going through a mental health crisis and did not seem to care one bit.Had another phone call with a doctor few days ago from Parkside, told him my life was in his hands and in desperate need of medication - didn't listen/grasp to what I was telling him, couldn't get me off the phone quick enough. Very robotic and no empathy at all. Offered me ineffective medication that does not work 'take it or leave it'.Lifeline saved my life that night.Chances are I won't be around much longer, the pain and suffering is unbearable. A & E can't do nothing but to refer to mental health team (been waiting 10 months). The Doctors had multiple chances to save a life - decided not to.I have been begging for help all year, and must have rang in 10 times in the last 8 weeks, sometimes in tears, on my knees asking for help.I need medication only a GP can prescribe, and they will not do so, even after speaking to an out of hours GP at the weekend, who sent an urgent letter/email, urging the practice to provide medication that is desperately needed, even in the short term. Still no.Avoid this place at all costs if you value your health/life.No wonder suicide is so high here.(not my real name)

Generally waiting anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes to get through on the phone. Receptions hit or miss with their attitude. Can be polite and professional or downright rude. The waiting time to see a doctor with an appointment normally runs about 30 minutes behind on average and approximately 1 hour without an appointment if an emergency. The online booking system needs work. The doctors are hit and miss also. The biggest problem is reception. Possibly understaffed and overworked. This does not make their attitude acceptable!

Phone system awful, in the afternoon if there is more than 5 ppl in the queue you will get diverted to automatic response that hangs up on you. Reception can be useless and rude all I wanted was to get en emergency inhaler as I couldn't wait 2 days for them to fill out a prescription. Even just getting a repeat prescription filled is a mission wouldn't have needed an emergency inhaler if I could get through easily

The queue for the flu jab was dreadful and unacceptable. Very elderly people expected to queue for over an hour and part of that time was outside in the cold!. Not so bad for those who were accompanied by friends/family. They could take a seat while their position in the queue was kept but for some others they had to just stand, prop themselves against walls and try to keep their spirits up by chatting to others in the queue. The whole process took 1 hour 45 from start to finish. Ridiculous way to treat elderly people.

If I could give zero I would. This surgery has continually failed me and my family over the past 12 months which is highly disappointing as I have been registered with them for 33 years.- Continual administrative failures between not updating address to then de-registering my family without notice- A severe lack of communication of test results- After a checkup being told hopefully it's not cancer and enjoy the rest of your day" when they couldn't find results that had been sent from hospital- Lack of professional training for front of house staff meaning they are unable to do their jobs well- Not vaccinating my son within a necessary timeframe and cancelling appointments without making new ones due to staff shortagesMy son and I are now left without a access to GP due to the failings

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The receptionists are the most rudest people you'll ever experience in this surgery as they are lacking so much with their services. Will also be filing a law suit to this surgery as they almost given my dad an expired covid vaccine.
