Booked my car in for mot & service. No confirmation email or text that it was booked in, had to call to double check day before booking.Told to bring the car in for 8am, received no time frame as to when it would be done. Called around midday to ask about how it was doing and a time that it would be completed. Was told it ‘should’ be done around 5pm. Never received any text or email to say the car was ready to be picked up. So went to pick it up at 5pm which it was ready to be picked up?? Thanks for letting me know it was ready.Upon picking up my car after paying, I noticed that the back of the car was damaged as seen in the pictures attached to this review. Couldn’t do anything at the time so was sent away and told that a manager would contact me, I’m still waiting to be contacted.Very disappointed with Gates of Woodford and would be even more appalled if they don’t repair the damage that was caused to my car whilst on their property and in their possession.>>>>> Follow Up <<<<

This review is a reflection of my own personal experience with this service center.ATTENTION: Gates of Ford are not a participating Ford dealer" who honour quotes from the Ford website. These words were said to me on the phone the morning of my service I had booked with them the week prior.Quoted on the website £705 for a 4 year old/40000 miles service (already a lot when I have only 23

Michael helped us choose our new car, gave us extremely thorough information throughout, changed his schedule to fit ours and was extremely friendly and courteous throughout. He answered all our questions and not once did I believe he was taking advantage or overselling us. We're very happy with our new car and got a great deal. Thank you Michael.

I am on my second leased car from Gates. My salesman was Ryan who was very professional and knowledgeable with , most importantly no hard sell. I’m his absence James too was very helpful. Since purchasing my car Ryan has checked all is well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gates of Woodford and will return. Excellent customer service. Thanks guys!

Extremely poor service. Had car serviced and MOT'ed. After service was told what additional items were required, which I agreed. After MOT was carried out I was told it had failed. Received an apology but felt blackmailed in having to agree additional items as otherwise would incur a further MOT fee. The car had failed the MOT a few days beforehand at another garage because of a failed light. When I asked Gates why these additional items we noted in the previous test, i was told that Gates had higher standards". They also failed to send me a visual video of the service. On a positive note

Went to get a Ford Dashcam fitted to my Focus ST Line X. Was abit apprehensive at first due to not getting good customer service from someone there a couple weeks before and reading some reviews. But I must say the lady at the service department desk Emma is a star. She explained what work would needed to be done and reassured me that the work will be done to a high standard. Was called when the work had been completed and told my car was ready for collection.When I picked up my car there was nothing out of place. Nobody would know my dashboard and ceiling had to be taken apart to fit the dashcam and it was fitted perfectly. Thank you Emma and the guys who fitted the dashcam as I know it wasn't a simple job. I will definitely be back ok the strength of the service I received today!
