Crown & Canvas Coffee Co

I have just purchased my first batch of coffee from Crown and Canvas. I collected in person, which was convenient and easy and it was good to chat with Jake and Steve.I have bought 4 different coffees to try in bean form. So far, I have tried the Honduras Single Origin and it has been a revelation. It is described as having flavours of orange, blueberry and cacao. I tend to think that these descriptions are exaggerated ... but it really does have those flavours! I can taste mainly the fruity flavours and my daughter-in-law picks up more on the cacao.I find that I get the best flavour if I grind the beans quite fine. The grinding seems to release the taste.I am looking forward to trying the rest of my purchase!

Great little place to go for a brew on a Saturday really nice staff that have made a place truly their own. I purchased some roasted on site coffee beans and they were great tasting with a really nice bag. Definitely one to try,I plan to revisit in the future.

We brought Colombia and Brazil coffee beans in a cafetiere grind and really enjoyed them both, Colombia was my personal favourite! Quick delivery too, Thank you very much!

Great coffee and reasonably priced.Their House Blend makes for a very well balanced Espresso, perfect as a flat white.There are also plenty of other great coffees to choose from with varying tasting notes, with the Inzovu Regional working very well for me in my Aeropress.I only live locally so I'll be dropping by for a kilo of the house blend once I've worked my way through the coffees I've recently had delivered, and hopefully I'll get to work my way through a fair few more of the various coffees on offer over the coming months.
