Premier Inn Southampton West hotel

Our room didn't have air conditioning, despite being advertised as such, instead there was a pedestal fan which was ineffective. Breakfast was extremely busy with a 15 minute wait, and it turns out The Vine restaurant next door is a cheaper and less chaotic experience for breakfast. The Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We stayed here the night before Peppa Pig World being right next door to it. The rooms were a very high standard and modern. We stayed in a family room. The hotel offers breakfast for £9.99 each and we were very pleased with what was on offer with a cooked buffet breakfast and continental options. This really set us up for the day ahead and was excellent value in our eyes. Will definitely be staying here again. Hotel reception area was very roomy and welcoming

We had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were so friendly (I forgot to get names!) and welcoming and the rooms were nice and clean! Anything we asked they literally helped us out, couldn’t thank them enough! Also, We loved how close this was to paultons park.The only downside was the location of this hotel, there was nothing for food but a McDonald’s and a pub next door (that’s not apart of the hotel and barely had anything in stock). But we made do.The breakfast in the morning was really good, they had so many options.

I can't rate this hotel enough, on our way to the hotel we experienced car trouble meaning our car had to stay at the hotel for the duration of our visit luckily we were only there to go to poultons park which was a 15mins walk away the staff here were extremely helpful and friendly even offered to let us have our room a little longer whilst my husband whet to collect our courtesy car from Southampton. The ladies in the breakfast room were amazing my children loved having a chat with them both mornings and they were genuinely interested in what they had to say if we ever visit the area again we will definitely be staying here yes the room was a little warm but so what it's summer what else would people expect. If you want to stay somewhere that is so welcoming and quiet then this is the place you will feel like part of the family here 100% will recommend to everyone

I had the pleasure yet again to stay at the Inn as always helpful and friendly staff. The facilities were great especially for myself, and being allocated a disability bedroom.I must give Gareth who on the Saturday night, could not have been anymore helpful than he was. It was not a pleasant task but his can do attitude solved a problem we had and was still cheerful. Many thanks to Gareth, looking forward to my next visit. Regards Russell MacGregor

One of the best Premium Inns we have stayed in.The staff were welcoming,polite and helpful.We stayed in a double bed room.The room is nearly fully ideal for what we needed.Unfortunately, the disabled room was not available. However, for the one night we stayed we could work around the wash issue.The room was nice and clean.Luckily, a fan was placed in the room. Due to no Aircon. The weather was very hot, when we stayed.Comfortable bed. Only downside was the very flat pillows.We stayed for breakfasts. £10 each. Which is consistent of continental breakfast and full English. A bargain for the price.We were highly delighted with the breakfast.The room was very clean.The members of staff. Were very helpful, friendly and polite.The chef was very friendly and professional.He made sure, all the hot food. Was available for everyone.We would recommend this Premier Inn to anyone.

Really good,well appointed Premier Inn. I was working all around Southampton and Winchester and it didn't toke long to get anywhere.It has a really nice friendly pub(Hungry horse)at the side of it also!

One of the better Premier Inn properties to stay at. Nice walk in showers and updated rooms. Still no Air conditioning installed but still just about bearable to sleep. Supplied fan in room wouldn't be any real help on the hotter nights we have had this year.

We have used premier inn in various city’s over many years and always been very happy with our room and service…. This particular premier inn I feel is desperate to be refurbished …it’s rather scruffy, all the windows are dirty … the room wasn’t as spotless as normal … bits rubbish under the bed .. dust around bedside tables … worn bathroom flooring … chipped bath just not the normal standards …. We went for food at the pub on site “The vine” it was under staffed, extremely scruffy , all tables were very sticky and worn … lots of food on the floor from other diners .. service was slow , food was basic pub grub nothing special!.. I definitely won’t be visiting again and won’t be recommending to friends or family!….
