A super nursery, with excellent facilities, lovely, caring and professional staff and excellent communication and administration. Surprised to see no reviews for the nursery so am keen to provide one.The setting is clean, tidy, light and airy and there is a lovely area to play in immediately outside. I understand that in 'normal times' facilities are shared with the school and that the nursery charges are taken to the neighbouring park. Although a nursery, it seems to provide a gentle familiarisation with a school day, with uniforms, topics, and learning through play.A warm welcome for both my son and I is always given and one would have no inkling that the staff are working in difficult circumstances due to the Pandemic, from the interactions with them. They are a credit to their organisation.Holiday and 'after nursery' club provision is made and includes the nursery children. From my calculations and understanding, this ensures childcare cover for around 47 weeks of the year.

Oakleigh house reviewMy son went to Oakleigh house in 2021 and we left after two terms, due to the general attitude of the school staff, starting from our arrival in the morning and the rather noticeable failure by the class teacher + teaching assistant to greet me (unless too obvious, on a handful of occasions), while hushing my son into class. Broadly speaking, the teachers were not forthcoming in addressing or talking to me - unlike they were with other parents - and looked keen on keeping our communication mostly at email level. My experience in brief: if you would like your child educated by some posh teacher at a provincial institution with very average standards - and are glad to splash out on it for all that - Oakleigh House is the place for you.
