Bought some radiator valve tails - good items and helpful when dealing with delivery queries.

Terrible experience.Business were great until we made the purchase. Then they sent a cast iron fireplace that was completely corroded. We rang them back and were told, as we were going away on holiday the next day it was out responsibility to bring the item indoors.Obviously very heavy, I had to take apart and bring in, then put back together and rewrap so it could be collected the following weekThey sent another. Same problem. This time we decided to get a refund and go elsewhere. The refund took over a week to be authorised/paid due to internal issues , and longer for the fireplace to be collected off our drive.6 weeks are we got a call out of the blue saying we had not returned part of the order and needed to pay 750 - the next day am invoice was sent before Wed even had chance to check.Just an amateurish service. Blaming suppliers and warehouse teams rather than realising, as a client, I don't care who messed up - ive chosen to transact with UKAA so the buck stops with them.Avoid and shop local, it's what we've now done,and we wished we'd done it from the start. This issue set our project back 3 months.

Very pleased with the Gothic cast iron grids, effectively reduced the outside ground level 300mm below the inside floor level of my old cottage, installed a french drain at bottom of trench, and then covered the remaining open area of bricks (now breathing again!) with the grids! I recently purchased radiator wall stays from UKAA and the service was great! They were prompt responding to emails and shipped the items to the USA for me! They have eye catching products and are solidly built. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again!

Fantastic customer service. I've been communicating with this company about existing radiators in my newly purchased home. They have been able to provide information about BTU's, how to potentially shorten a very long radiator, and an estimate on a new radiator. Quick response time and very helpful.

Terrible company!!I went for a trial day here and they did nothing but mislead me. I had to get a £50 taxi here just to not get paid for a 7 and a half hour shift. I felt belittled here as they never included me in any of the work and made me sit there and watch them the whole time not teaching me a single thing. Apparently I was eye rolling and asked what time I had to leave which is very unprofessional of them as of course I need to know what time I was going home to arrange transport. I tried very hard to be friendly but these people are not very nice and a bit too snobby. Wouldn’t recommend as an apprenticeship!!

Absolutely fantastic service from Viv at this company. Can not fault her knowledge and experience with what I wanted. I had left it very late to order for my builder but she ensured the order was quickly processed and put out for delivery within 24 hours. I had the radiator powder coated by a local supplier and I am delighted with it. Would have no hesitation in recommending them and will be ordering again.

It’s been a mixed experience dealing with UKAA. I’m happy with my new radiator but customer service hasn’t been great.I ordered fittings all marked as “Antique Brass”. After delivery and fitting by my plumber, it’s obvious that the products have different finishes. UKAA’s customer service tells me the value has an “aged” finish and everything else has a “man made” finish. (A) that’s not explained anywhere on the website and it’s quite a big issue to gloss over. (B) after asking UKAA’s customer services about the problem I was given zero assistance. I was told in a very matter of fact way that the finishes are different (again, not mentioned when ordering) and I got what I ordered.Good customer service would have involved identifying the problem and suggesting a solution. I would have been fine to pay for new fittings if someone had offered to help me. I’m going to order them from a competitor instead.Resolving this issue will cost me literally hundreds of pounds: new hardware and another call out from my plumber. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend using this company.
