Glee Club Oxford - Comedy Club

Always great acts and a good atmosphere, food is good too!

Such a great place for laughs. Unfortunately frustratingly, we always buy our tickets online only to get there and find out that the seats that they designated for us were stolen by other people (and said seats are always better seats). We are then asked to sit elsewhere which makes no sense..... How do those people just get" our seats.... How is it not obviously them who should move??Also find people talking casually way too loudly while comedians are doing their shows extremely frustrating and people walking around.....I mean.... The first time we went for new year's 2016

We went to the glee club for new years and had a great night overall. The only reason I give three stars is because of the rudeness of the bar staff on the top floor (one lady in particular). I stood at the bar for the entire interval and was simply ignored, so had to give up in the end, as customers who came a long time after me were being served first, so we sat through a couple of acts without a drink. On new years eve. On top of this, it took them forever to clear the top room for new years, after saying it would take 10 minutes, it took 45. Also, they ran out of bubbly in about 2 minutes, as they only had a few bottles I'm stock. The comedians and the dj made up for this, however and we had a cracking night in the end. One more thing was that we were under the impression that only those from the comedy night would be allowed upstairs, but it was opened to everyone. But, it added to the atmosphere.

Cabaret of the Elements was great fun. Seating slightly cramped.
