I have ALWAYS wanted to be able to pick up a guitar and play at least one song but never thought I could learn. Tom said he could teach me a song in 30 minutes. I was convinced he couldn't as I've never even held a guitar but was excited to try. Result, a song learnt after my first 30 minutes lesson! Amazing and really good fun, not difficult or boring like I thought learning might be. I look forward to my lesson now each week. Tom is a great teacher and always makes learning enjoyable. Tom is exactly the right teacher at the right time for me. I’ve been playing for about 11 years now (in a band for 4) and have studied hard accumulating quite a good knowledge of the instrument, but I’ve really struggled to apply it effectively. Tom assessed my level and learning style very quickly indeed and within 10 minutes of lesson 1 was already helping me to bring it all together. 4 lessons in and my ability to apply has increased very significantly indeed, I am learning so much.Tom is a GREAT teacher, you need to meet him.

Tom is a superb teacher and delivers his lessons in a way which feels personalised. The different elements that we have learnt have all been enjoyable and all lead into each other. I was sceptical as to whether I could keep it up but the quality of Toms lessons have kept me coming back week after week for 6 months and I feel more excited than ever to continue.

Tom is a stunning guitarist and expertly plays many styles of music. His music theory is also second to none, which he explains in an easily understandable, and appliable, way. But, what sets him apart, as a teacher, are his teaching techniques. He has studied the art of rapid learning and understands how to gain big improvements quickly, from the ground up. Tom has taught me many teaching techniques that have been fundamental in my musical progression. Furthermore, these are techniques that I apply to all new skills in my life and help me to progress ahead of the curve.

I was bought a guitar from my partner for Christmas as learning the guitar was something that had always been a bucket list goal. I tried the ‘YouTube’ self teach way and it just doesn’t work, there’s so much information out there that you end up with analysis paralysis and the most obvious downside of learning guitar on ‘YouTube’ as a complete beginner is that there's no direct feedback from a guitar teacher. Therefore, you won't be able to notice your mistakes, you won't be able to ask questions or get immediate feedback.Reaching out to Tom from a basic Google search and referral from a friend was the best thing I’ve done.I’m currently around 8 lessons into my guitar journey and now own a new acoustic and electric guitar and never thought I’d of progressed this far.Toms lessons are structured to the individual and my own skills. I ask a lot of questions and he helps with absolutely everything and pushes me to work harder when practicing at home.I don’t regret signing up with Tom and will continue to progress under his awesome eye.Thank you Tom

Tom is a fantastic guitar teacher. I've only been having lessons for 6 months, and I'm far ahead of where I thought I'd be, largely because of Tom's excellent tuition and knowledge. Couldn't recommend him more as a guitar teacher if you're interested in learning.

Tom's style of teaching is intuitive and practical involving techniques that really help with your development. After a few lessons I'm already playing along with Rory Gallagher and Peter Green, amazing!
