I have used Barker Mills for years as not only do they sell cars but have a full maintenance/repairs etc garage right next door and Steve and Michelle are only ever a call away when something goes wrong!My partner Lucy bought a car a few months ago (not from Barker Mills on this occasion) and she started to notice a growling noise from the exhaust area which became progressively louder. I called Steve at 10am this morning, had it in their garage at 1:30pm and had it fully repaired and collected by 4:30pm! Where else do you get such quality service like that? Great repairs, reasonable prices, exemplary service. Many thanks to Steve, Michelle and the team!

Bought a Kia off them a year ago. Has been nothing but trouble for the whole year. Spent over a grand fixing it up to a usable condition. Was promised the condition was great so I was clearly lied to. Find another dealer, it'll save you money in the long run!

I have purchased many used cars over the years, but can honestly say that Barker Mills is the only one I would buy from again and probably the only one I will remember for the right reasons. Not only are their cars good value and checked over thoroughly by their own mechanics, they actually care about their customers. You can immediately tell it is a pleasant and happy environment, which in turn makes it a pleasant and happy buying experience. Very nice people, trustworthy and attentive. Thank you Steve & Michelle and to all the other staff. Highly recommended!

Let me tell you about Barker Miils,pure chance I found them,since then I’ve had several cars of them yes I’ve had some minor problems with a couple of the cars but never have I had problems with Barker Mills resolving them,They do everything possible to keep costs low if you need parts and will always keep the damaged parts they removed for customer inspection,Today 28th/3/2023 it’s pissiting down but Michelle picked up my car to take for M.O.T and brought it back only cost was the M.O.T .I Mean can you ask for better service?and if I get fed up with this car I will not hesitate to go to Barker Miils.

I came here to buy my first car after saving up for over a year, I bought a Hyundai I20 for £2785 paying in full. Within a week after purchase car broke down due to a snapped fan belt, I rang them up to use to use warranty and to my shock they refused to come and tow it. I then had to have it towed at my own expense! Considering I have literally just paid them almost 3k! Not long after that the real problems started, blown gasket which they blamed me for, and needed a new timing chain which they refused to do under warranty. When I refused to pay them they simply pushed my car off the forecourt and washed their hands of it. Had to wait 3 hours outside their garage for a tow. Bare in mind my car is supposed have a YEARS WARRANTY which it said on their website (changed now) I have the screenshots to prove it. So my car needed thousands of pounds worth of repairs doing not to mention steering rack on its way out just before I sold it. I was lucky my friend is a mechanic and did the work for cheap Someone else might not have that luxury, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS SERIOUSLY! Very bad people.

Cant recommend enough. Bought a mazda 3 from Barker Mills. No pressure selling, Steve was very informative and helpful.After driving home there was a funny noise coming from the passenger side wheel. Didn't hear it on the test drive. Rang straight away and got booked in the next day. Steve test drove the car. Apologised and had it straight on the ramp. Wasn't anyone's fault the car drove perfectly on the test drive.The caliper pin seized. Not only did they fix it but put on new brake pads and discs on both sides and balance the tyre's free of charge! Only took an hour!Buying used cars there is always an element of risk. Barker Mills does it right. I drove away knowing I bought a car from a trust worthy place.

Many thanks to Steve and the team for the speedy repair to my wife's car which was damaged as a result of the freezing conditions we have had recently.I found Steve to have a friendly but professional manner and I appreciate the time he took in explaining what the problem was, the work that was required and the time scale it would take and keeping me updated with progress. The courtesy car he provided proved really helpful.He also helped me source a part for my 1999 Mitsubishi Colt after I had mentioned the problem I was having finding what I needed, when picking up my wife's car, even fitting it for me without charge.I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to my friends, particularly if they were looking to change car.

I came here in between Christmas and new year as a major fault showed on my dash. I had been fobbed off from around 10/12 different garages due to the time of year and the potential work that would be involved. I came here and they were all amazing! Really friendly and as a woman I can find garages are often intimidating places as I have no idea about cars but not here they were all fab. While they looked into tha fault on my car they were kind enough to let me use their spare company car so I was able to still get around, this was available to me for as long as it was needed to get my car back on the road. Luckily my car was an easy fix and I was all done and dusted in less than 24 hours and was very reasonably priced. I can not sing their praises enough and will 100% be coming here for all my car needs in the future and sending anyone who will listen their way too.
