Has lots of stock but not necessarily what I want.Bought some walking shoes (Highline II) for about 5 miles per day town walk to work and back. However the soles on both were warn thorough within 5 months. Returned for refund which was no hassle though the shop assistant seemed most disinterested and expressed no interest in the problem making a refund without comment.The shop does appear to carry a wide range of outdoor wear but I cannot comment if it is of good quality or not.

I wanted to support my local shops so visited Mountain Warehouse today in search of some new walking boots. There was a good selection of different boots at differing prices. An assistant came to help and talked me through the different styles. She was very helpful & I left with a comfortable pair of boots

Very small shop. Used to visiting much larger premises with more selection. They do say they can get stuff ordered in for next day, but if I want to order I'll do that from the comfort of my own sofa!

I may be impressed, a brief visit a few days after they opened looked like good prices. But of course, not a wide range of manufacturers.AND - get the spelling of the town correct: Berkhamsted. Look at the address. It's not been (Great) Berkhampstead since 1937!

If you like cheap poorly made rubbish then this is the store for you. As someone who has been involved in the outdoor market for 15+ years I can honestly say that this company had no eye for detail at all when it comes to specifications and performance. If you are looking for a good quality product save yourself the journey.
