What a quality little bothy. Clean n tidy. Lovely little place. Small walk up to it. Watch out if it's raining as it gets muddy, but this place is epic. Nice place to spend the night. Log fire gets you walm, woodland coal is there. We had a Free beer left behind by other people. Very nice of them.

A fine Scottish bothy in a remote and beautiful location above Loch Dee. The room service was non-existant, no wifi, couldn't get pizza delivered and there were even snakes in the garden but good value.

Recently been refurbished and has some pans, a few bits in the kitchen left by others, saws and can comfortably sleep 4 to 5 people on benches (potentially more if you're willing to sleep on the floor or double up on benches). Fire place keeps it cosy (if you have wood/ coal).

Bothy near to the Southern Upland way a few hundred meters from Loch Dee. A bit awkward to get to if coming back car but worth the drive. Can be used as a stop off point for longer hikes, there are a few peaks nearby for people wanting to go up some mountains, the highest one being Merrick a few hours walk to the west. The Bothy is free to use however the bothy association do always like new members.

Walked in from Bruce's Stone. Took too much stuff so it was difficult, but had a great night in the bothy with lovely surroundings.
