Orchy Bank House

We had lovely stay, everything was perfect-it was new, very clean, the owner is kind and helpful. Peaceful place, there is only the house, the river and many ducks. We only regret we didn't book more than two nights. If anytime in Scotland, would love to come back. Don't worry to take the room with external bathroom-it's just opposite the room and very private.

This is a hidden gem. Family run and styled with touches of nordic functionality. Has own garden overlooking the river, a garden cabin (with fireplace!) and also has access to the river bank. There is also an indoors common reading room when the weather is not fair.They are a B&B and for lunch/dinner your nearest decent spot is a 5 minute ride away (Ben Cruachan Inn). However, they do highlight that they are a B&B so when I made the booking I knew what I was booking. Overall if ever in those parts again then will certainly come here again. p.s- The local duck population seems to be centered around Orchy Bank House and you need to visit it to understand why :)

Orchy Bank House was our first stop after travelling for over 24 hours straight and I'm glad it was. I never sleep well on a first night, but this ended up being my best nights sleep of the two week vacation. Everything was of a high quality and the location is beautiful. The hosts were fantastic and the breakfast was very tasty. We only stayed for one night, but can definitely see a longer stay in our future.

We had a wonderful stay as part of our honeymoon week. From the newly renovated rooms to the delicious breakfast, it was a treat. We will be back again and hope to stay for several nights!

Wow!! Wow!! What a great place. The old village shop fully gutted, rebuilt to a stunning b&b. Very nice sitting garden on the Orchy river waterfront. Delicious breakfast and of course the very welcoming hosts Melinda and Nicolai.

Even on a rainy day, I felt happy.Nice room, spacious. Lovely view of the garden the river, the bridge and the ducks.

What a magical place. Beautiful rooms, lovely common areas, excellent food and great hospitality. Coupled with a lovely wild garden by a river and pond, with ducks wandering about. Totally recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful! Perfect location, lovely house with rooms recently updated to a very high standard. Super comfortable bed, delicious, perfectly cooked breakfast, friendly and very helpful hosts. Couldn't ask for more, and we'll definitely be back next time we're passing this way.

Nice place, by an old bridge and with a garden where ducks stroll around.Friendly owners, who cook a great breakfast.Our bed was a bit squeaky, might need some oil.
