Very disappointed after spending a small fortune on a rolling road session and then being told it needs a map sensor to make it run and start better ,after having this fitted it was no better, when I questioned why ,Ric told me he hasn't got time for small projects and has bigger fish to fry ,I wish he had told me this before I spent all my savings, I won't be going back or recommend any one to visit

Ric tuned my triumph spitfire for me, after I'd made some modifications to it. It now has 16 BHP more than when it was new 40 years ago. Nice guy, knows his stuff, professional and reasonably priced. Would definitely use him again.

Ric Wood, highly experienced and passionate about all aspects of his work, i have used his dyno services previously and this time i needed advice regarding a cylinder head. he called me back to quote and take the time to explain everything and advised about the necessary work and I am pleased with this and will be going forward with this work in the near future.

I've been coming to Ric's for my MOTs and other work, since I've been in Stockport. I've had a cylinder head cnc ported by him. And the work is outstanding. His knowledge and passion for the craft is second to non. You will be hard pressed to find anyone with such a strong eclectic knowledge of within motorsport and performance vehicles space, not nationally but internationally.

spoke to Ric on the phone and was told he had a part which was £100, but told to call back when the lady was in who took the orders. Wrang back, took the order for the part. Got the part delivered to find out they charge £21 delivery and its £120 for the part and not £100 as told. I was never given a call back to say 'this is the final price' as I assumed that when I gave my card number and the price was £100, that the cost charged should have been £100.Tried to reason with him, however was told to send the part back for refund and never to call again. Now he won't even pick up the phone.Very dissapointed in the afterservice and the childish nature in which he went about rectifying the situation. I would have been happy to meet in the middle on the extra charged.

I use to go to Rick when he first started out on birdhall Lane Cheadle heath back in the late eighties early nineties for capri bits was always a genuine honest guy, remember bought a turbo kit for a 2.8 capri off him when he moved to where he is now in davenport, he was really helpful in advise with it, great guy to deal with....
