FM Conway Newhaven Asphalt Plant

Terrible plant constantly spew sand all over the local cars and building , the area constantly smells . They don’t care been a nightmare since they built their new plant .

Spews out massive amounts of foul smelling smoke, ruining the air for all within Newhaven and surrounding areas. Disgusting.

At the time of writing, 11pm at night on 5/7/23, we cannot go to bed because our bedroom has been filled with the acrid stink from the Conway plant on Newhaven's North Quay. It's an unbearable odour every day whenever the prevailing westerly winds are blowing. It makes my nose, eyes and throat sting and causes headaches. We are worried about more serious potential health impacts. We feel helpless and are angry that they can have such a huge effect on our daily living. It isn't fair.

The strong toxic ordour spreads surround Newhaven. I am wander why the asphalt plant is located in the town center near the train station, super stores and surgery!!! I can't go outside with my baby and open the window because of the pollution. I am not happy in Newhaven
