You spend hours doing a job application and all you ask is a simple acknowledgement that the application has been received which every potential employer does give. However, the HR department just ignored this simple request which was made twice. Disgusting attitude - if this is how they respond to applicants - I wonder how the treat their staff.

A review of sixth form collegeCedar sixth form provides excellent areas to learn with is library full of easily accessible computers that can be logged into any time of the day for a student to complete there work assignments. They also provide many bursary options providing for those who might be unable to access equipment at home or unable to find a reliable method of travel to the college as well as numerous other bursary options the science labs as of 2022 are to a high standard as well as many of the other labs on the premises allowing for the maximum amount of learning for students. They also have available numerous courses for students to apply for ranging from Drama to chemistry they have also recently added the new T level courses to the available library of which can be learned in the college. The investment received into these new courses is brilliant it is clear that much attention and time has been spent planning out the new T level courses with many educational opportunities being provided for support and digital development with experienced teachers at the helm. The support given from teachers is of high quality with many helping to guide students onto new prospects like university giving lots of advice along with a students education they will discuss in detail the companies providing higher level educations developing a straight path for students to follow. The office is kind and supportive willing to answer any questions that a student may have about bursaries events and other key happenings that may happen at the college. The clubs that the college provides are diverse ranging from a book reading club all the way to a darts club allowing students to participate in fun activities after they are done studying.Although i have listed many positives and attributes of this college it does have its flaws. The food options in the canteen are decently minimal selling the same thing as the college Costas near bye making it hard to get anything unique to eat at times. There are plenty of places to buy food from around the college but due to the time taken to order and distance from the college they are often unviable. There are many indoor plants inside the college making the corridors feel more in touch with nature and fresh but they can often over grow into the corridors often leading to students accidently walking into the plants often damaging and killing them this is not a bad problem it just seems like the college has neglected a lot of its plants. Many students have complained about teacher organisation and lack of clarity when receiving homework as of 2022 leading to many students being put on report" this has added extra stress to many of the students that are already under enough pressure as it is with Covid 19 the report system has lead to many issues with student engagement and has often discouraged productivity as its often seen as a sign of bad behaviour many students have left the college due to reasons like this the stress of being put on report and general mismanagement and a lack of recourses for some coursesYours sincerely Thomas Rhodes !"

The college was established in 1970 on Victoria Road, Fenton; making it the first purpose-built sixth form college in the country. Next to it was the Fenton Manor Sports Complex. Originally build with a capacity of 700 students, it eventually came to teach more than double that figure. The college specialises in educating years 12 and 13, where students can gain AS, A2 and BTEC qualifications. More than 95% of students are aged between 16 and 19. About 90% of students are of White British heritage, with a large minority being British Pakistanis. About 70% of students come from the city, with the rest journeying in from North Staffordshire

My son has left this time and is really disappointed in his results. The college led him to believe that he was on track to get his predicted grades (despite some poor mock results). They would not support him when he felt he was struggling with exam type questions. We got a tutor to assist but the college tutors would not help the student or tutor with regards to what work to focus on. There were a many attempts to ask for help using the Email given by the tutor but never any responses! Both He and we (parents) feel let down by the tutors and the college.

Atmosphere of the college is very welcoming. Very caring college, the teachers are all friendly and will help all pupils (if they are asked). They have all been brilliant with my son, and have helped him a lot. They have always been there for both of us if we had concerns due to sons health or even work. Nothing is any trouble for this college.I cannot fault anything they are fantastic

I'm currently a student of Stoke sixth form college and I love being here. From the classes, staff, classmates, experience and sports academy. I've made wonderful friends and I highly recommend the college.

The worst school I've ever been to! Staff members were not supportive when I was facing mental health challenges due to COVID and personal reasons. Instead Staff put pressure on me, whilst delivering a poor quality of education, and poor support to help me improve my results. I was predicted BBC grades before transferring to this college and left just about passing my A-levels, and with trauma from my poor treatment by staff members.
