Black Axe Throwing Co - Southampton
Not really knowing what to expect as not done this before. The staff were very welcoming. And following a short game ( that was fun) and a short safety briefing. We were straight into it. The instructor was great teaching us several different techniques. From single handed. Two handed. Through to double axes. And of course the under handed throw..... I learnt a lot, had fun and split an axe handle with another axe...all in all a great experience. Would highly recommend.

The most wonderful start to our date day amazing time and great stress reliever. Loved to quite first session of the day as plenty of throwing in then on to shopping lunch and drinks. Loved to competition amazing instructors. We will be back.

Such a fun experience had by my wife and I! Staff were so friendly (especially Chris), good entertainment while you wait and the tournament was so much fun! Would highly recommend. Look forward to going back again :)

I recently visited this place with my friend while they were visiting from Finland, and I have to say that it was an absolutely brilliant experience that I really, really recommend! Not only was the venue itself really cool and chill, but Vasco, who was our safety instructor/group leader was so cool and super super nice. He genuinely made the entire experience so much more enjoyable and I can’t thank him enough for the help and the good vibes he provided. Thank you!

Me and my husband came here on Friday evening as it was his birthday. The place looked amazing! The guy (sorry can't remember his name) was awesome! He was very professional and even though we was the only ones who booked that late, the instructor went all out on our experience. We both had a great time! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back here!

Had a great time. Finding somewhere for my husband and daughter to have fun on their joint birthday is hard, this was perfect. As my daughter's 21st this was definitely a great choice! We all loved it. Great venue, music and vibes. Amazing hosting by the team. Very friendly and accommodating. One of the best all round experiences we've had as a family for a long time. Can't recommend them enough. Will be back for sure!

My dad and I had a great time here! We loved the wacky and tasty non alcoholic beers available. The ax throwing was really great and the staff were brilliant and explaining everything and making sure we had a good time.

Dan and Aaron were excellent guides! A week ago my husband and I stopped in having never thrown axes before and left with several bullseyes. Dan and Aaron were excellent safety and technique instructors, giving valuable info in a fun way. They made sure we had loads of fun during our session! (Free Willy!") Great place for a small party or interesting date night. We're from way out of town but would definitely return if in the area again."

Great fun, groups, not families though, recommended. It gets raucous but immense fun. It's harder than you think, but our instructors were ace and kept everything and everyone moving and entertained. Top of Marlands and three lanes. Sharp axes, loud music, and a great time.
